For a long time, it seemed like we couldn't go a week without hearing something having to do with Brian Urlacher but not having something to do with how he played football. Whether it was about his desire for a new contract, his acrimonious child support battle, his frisky hands or his hostile text messaging, it got far too easy to forget that Urlacher was still playing football for the Bears. This season, though, Urlacher has faded from view. That may be a bad sign for the Bears defense, but it's a good one for Urlacher's personal sanity. I'd give thanks tomorrow, but Urlacher's luck ran out today. The mother of Urlacher's son was in court threatening to stop Urlacher from seeing his son because Urlacher has painted the boy's toenails and has him wearing pink diapers.
"He says he can do whatever he wants," (the boy's mother Tyna) Robertson said. "(Urlacher said), 'It doesn't make him feminine. It doesn't make him gay.'
"You're confusing him, if he's a boy or a girl," she said.
Whether or not he's confused about his gender, he's certainly gotten screwed in the parenting department. In case you've forgotten, Urlacher's infamous text message to Robertson accused her of "raising a little p___y, and these two have gone back and forth in the public forum for years with the little boy stuck in the middle. Hopefully Urlacher's new contract pays enough to cover therapy.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOK, Why in the hell is he painting his son's toenails? Is the polish 'Pink' also? The poor kid will undoubtedly grow up very confused and will almost certainly need therapy.

What the big idiot did, was a poor attempt to piss off his exwife in reference to the "raising a P___y" problem. How old is this kid? Pink diapers, big shit. Painted toenails. Hell, maybe they were black with skulls on them. Now we're putting the kid in therapy.
The lady sounds like a bitch. The press ought to stay out of divorce court and leave the family alone. The kid will be fine.

This is sickening. There are several problems involved. 1) There are no qualifications or even standards for being a parent. Any male and female, who possess the fertility attributes, can simply do that which is necessary to start the gestation process Then, after gestation there appears a baby who had no say, no choice, whatsoever in who would be his/her parents. I enjoy sports, especially football, but being a good athlete relates to hand eye coordination, not to intellect. or integrity. I don't know the answer, but I wish that little boy could somehow live in a home such as the Archie Manning household. Two things: 1) Erlacher, get your head out of your behind, and 2) GROW UP! This is not about you and your former wife. This is about your son and the rest of his life.

Settle down... the trib reported the other day that it was Urlacher's daughters who painted the three year olds toes ( at his(3yo) request. Second ... who cares if he had to borrow a pullup from one of his daughters for his son to wear. If any of you had a child you know that sometimes you run out of diapers and he had an easy fix .
