It's usually generally presumed -- I think -- that you don't mess with someone's family when playing a prank on said person. This, of course, doesn't necessarily count when a) Pauley Shore is involved or b) the family is involved. But if, in the case of Eli Manning (and, naturally, Abby Manning) recently, you decide to bring a spouse in, you should at least give them the heads up.Or not, as the New York Giants decided to do recently.
"It was family day at the facility, where guys have their wives and kids come out to visit, and we got ahold of Eli's phone and sent a couple of texts," Giants guard Rich Seubert explained. "We said, 'Please come. It would really mean a lot to me.' So she showed up, which was a total surprise to Eli. She had some stuff to do and didn't really want to be there, so needless to say she wasn't thrilled."Well, naturally. She's worked hard her entire life to make sure that her husband never had to actually do any work and could essentially just kick it around ... oh, right.
Still, even though Eli has made sure that his wife doesn't have to do anything other than say "Stirred" or "Shaken" for the rest of her life doesn't give the G-men an excuse to drag her out to a fake practice.
Besides, the entire point of a prank is that once all is said and done, you get to point at the pranked person and scream "GOTCHA!". In this case, everyone just has to laugh awkwardly on the sideline while Elijah cries and begs for mercy. And yes, I think we can safely say we now know why Michael Strahan retired after last season.

Hey KEN BRWN, and maybe, had she gone on to where she was originally planning to venture, she would have gotten in an accident and been hurt or killed. Could it be that the prank was divine intervention?
Try not to take life too seriously! =D

KEN BRWN! Are you really serious? Did you just call yourself Blogging with Ethics and Morals? Please say you are joking?
These are football players, and Eli is one of the biggest pranksters on the team. Football is a fun loving game played by fun loving kids that grow up to be fun loving adults. It was a family day and his wife should have been there to show her support anyway. What the hell did she have to do that was more important than supporting her bread, butter and meat Anyway. Man get off your non spelling high horse and enjoy the article. This is one of a few good articles we can share a good feeling with. keep your wanna be nerd ass off the field.

Leave the wives and kids out of the silly, junior high school pranks. Behave like adults, even if you are not quite there mentally. As for Darin, comment #7, people have been handcuffed and dragged behind cars for that kind of mischief. I do not recoommend that; but, it seems to me Darin should be encouraged to leave the wives and kids out of it, and, otherwise, just ATTEND TO HIS OWN PERSONAL BUSINESS.

This just shows the togetherness of the team. The Giants, ESPECIALLY the O-line are a fun group and are always playing pranks on each other, like close brothers would do to each other. These guys not only play together, the socialize together too. Rich Seubert is one of the MOST down to earth guys you will ever meet. No Glitz, NO Glamour. The type of guy that brings his lunch bucket to work. This O-Line are all from Middle Class America. No high profiles. Perhaps this is why they have turned into the BEST O-Line in the NFL. Don't assume if you are a PRO ATHLETE You are out partying all the time, this is not the case with this group.

I think it'd be funny if Abby made the guys come and rearrange furniture for her to make up for it. It was a bad attempt at a prank and they should be laughed at for not thinking of something better.
Oh, and somebody ban Ken Brwn. I'm sure I remember Thomas Jefferson stating that free speech does not include angrily yelling nonsense with the caps lock on. Maybe he'll pull himself away from the computer long enough to get his meds refilled.

I don't know anything about Abby Manning's personality or background.
This prank would be very funny if she is "Miss Priss" and normally refuses to socialize with the team players.
Then, the prank is`on her, not Eli.
Otherwise, it's lame to bring the family in on a juvenile prank.

May I be a bit blunt with you? Of course I can. Please lower caps. It's rude to use them on line because it's like you are yelling.Secondly learn to spell. It may help others know what you are saying. And last but not least, use a period after each sentence so we will know when one sentence ends and the other starts. Thank you!!
