Bengals' Chad Johnson Out Tonight vs. Steelers for Violating Team Rules

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson will be benched for tonight's game against the Steelers because he violated a team rule, Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting.

It's not clear exactly what team rule Johnson violated, but the early indications are that he had some kind of run-in with someone at a team function Wednesday night.

It's the latest in a long line of issues between the team and the wide receiver who legally changed his surname from Johnson to Ocho Cinco over the summer. Johnson spent much of the off-season saying he no longer wanted to play in Cincinnati and wished to be traded or released, although he's been relatively quiet and peaceful this season, both on the field and off. But that relative peace and quiet now ends, and this benching calls into question whether Johnson has any future with the organization.

And Goodell just re-instates the thug ,jones, in Dallas. Can't he see the fans want the punk element out of sports. GM's and owners, get your heads out of your asses. I very seldom watch the NFL anymore. Too much chest thumping and showboating after plays, with their team down by 3 or 4 touchdowns.

i can read between the lines chad wants out of the bengales org. so hes acting out ,since they wouldnt let him go doing the off season ,hes proberly flustered inside about how everything is going again this year they suck as a team but have good players that are not playing like they should. if i owned the team i would start fresh let him go .let the coach go and def.coach go sometimes you got to start clean again instead puting a band aid on the bleeding going on in the team, mybe the team and the players if let go will have a new fresh airr to breath if the owner would do hes job and start cleaning up the team for the future.

Ocho should be getting the same punishments that jones is getting. Just because he can catch a football doesn't mean he's a good football player. On and off the field he's proven he's just a child in a mans body. His teammates and fans mean nothing to him. It's all me, me, me.
