Chad Johnson never seems to come up short when it comes to entertainment value and with the Eagles in Cincinnati today, Johnson didn't disappoint. According to Eagles web media guy, Dave Spadaro, Chad Ochocinco jumped into an Eagles receiver drill during pregame warm ups and caught a ball from Donovan McNabb. Both men witnessed Bengals star receiver Chad Ocho Cinco/Johnson cut into a line of Eagles wide receivers during warmups and run a slant pattern. When Cinco (Donovan McNabb) hit Ocho Cinco (Johnson) in stride, the Bengals' receiver went to his knees and looked up into the sky, then hugged McNabb.
Apparently Ocho Cinco has the same dreams at night as a lot of Eagles fans.
Touche. But while this move is cute and probably entertaining at all but what has the NFL come to when moves like this are acceptable? Perhaps I'm overreacting a bit but how in the world is it acceptable for a member of the opposing team to come over to your side of the field and pull a stunt like this?
I'm not upset with Johnson as his Bengals are so bad that it doesn't really matter what he does, but the Eagles -- a team fighting for their playoff lives -- should be focused during the pregame on killing the opposing team. I'm not a fan of this fraternizing with the team you're supposed to beat up on later in the day.

Could this be a dream as I wipe the sleep from my eyes Ocho and McNabb making a love connetion, could we really see Ocho running a slant pattern in Philly he did say he wanted out of Cincinnati, could we see Ocho pulling a Philly Cheese Steak out his sock as he makes a game winning touchdown, but then again it could just be a dream....

Oh c'mon, how can you be this uptight? You are representative of the entire NFL as a whole, a bunch of pansies who play by the rules and there is NO fun allowed. He was just fooling around with a friend who happens to be on the other team.. I can't believe how much the game has changed since the glory days of the 1970s

Unfortunately, the pregame pass was one of the few that McNabb hit anyone in stride. I believe this dream is more likely to come true in Minnesota or insert other city here. I have a feeling that McNabb will not likely start at Quarterback for the Eagles, and Ocho Cinco will not likely pine to catch balls from untested Kevin Kolb in Philly. After todays performance, even Chad wouldn't want to play with D Mac, or be coached by Andy (the time is yours)Reid. I have been patient for years and defended both. It is difficult for me to continue to do so. Andy would just say after a loss that he needs to do a better job of getting Ocho Cinco into the game. And wjile I'm ranting, shouldn't someone have explained that there is only one overtime in footbal to the Eagles players. Perhaps they would have shown a little urgency instead of another 4 yard pass on 3rd and 8.
I am removing all sharp objects from the house, and doubling my anti-depressent. LOL

It's good he threw to a Bengals player in the warm-up. He needed the practice for all the times he did it during the game.
