Kareen McKenzie will start Sunday against Baltimore despite
being charged with a DUI on Thursday.McKenzie, 29, was pulled over at about 9:30 p.m. after he cut through a gas station on Route 23 and Main Street. Finding McKenzie to be impaired, the officer on the scene gave him a Breathalyzer test and found he was above the legal limit of .08. McKenzie was arrested and his car was impounded. He was cooperative with police.
McKenzie, in a statement released by the team, said: "I spoke with Coach (Tom) Coughlin and (GM) Jerry Reese this morning and expressed my remorse. . . . I am prepared to deal with the consequences of that situation from both a legal standpoint and as a player in the National Football League."
This is believed to be McKenzie's first ever brush with the law so it will be interesting to see how the league handles this. If he is convicted of the DUI, he is subjected to discipline from the team or the league which could include being placed in the league's substance abuse program.

If you stood on top of a list of people who have ever driven after drinking you would need an oxygen tank to breathe.
Yea its the first time but if he had killed somone would it matter that it was the first time. Just because alot of people do it does it make it ok. This is a growing dangerous problem in this country. The man is how ever inocent till proven guilty.
