Inside the NFL
spent three decades on HBO before moving to Showtime this fall. One of the show's new faces, Warren Sapp, called the HBO version of Inside "bland and boring," which caused former panelist Peter King's panties to predictably bunch.

Two months into his new teevee gig, Sapp hasn't exactly been a beacon of insight -- in fact, he's pretty much been useless -- but he did manage to malign Keyshawn Johnson during this week's show.

Via NFL.com's Adam Schefter:
In a special segment on this week's Inside The NFL, Warren Sapp answered viewer submitted questions during "Ask Warren Anything". Below are transcription highlights of the show. ...

(On whether he would ever watch Keyshawn Johnson's reality show about interior design)
SAPP: Me, watch Keyshawn on an interior decorating show? Keyshawn, I knew you were a bitch. And thanks for making it all clear.
Sapp is referring to Johnson's upcoming project on A&E, although based on his comments, the Dog Whisperer also works.

It's not the first time the world's heaviest Dancing with the Stars participant has called out Johnson. Last month, Sapp, in talking about Brad Johnson temporarily taking over for Tony Romo in Dallas, said that "He's played with worse malcontents than T.O. He played with Keyshawn. Keyshawn was kicked off the team, away from us. Terrell Owens is a choirboy compared to Keyshawn. He'll get the ball and distribute it and they'll be fine."

Of course, Sapp was in the Bucs' locker room when Keyshawn wanted to beat the crap out of Jason Whitlock, too, so maybe he speaks from experience. Also, it's not like Sapp's the only NFL player who's been outspoken when it comes to Johnson.

Whatever, I eagerly await Keyshawn's rebuttal on ESPN's NFL Sunday Countdown. It'll undoubtedly add to the discourse you'd expect from two past-their-prime former athletes -- one now a dancer, the other an interior decorator -- embroiled in a name-calling contest.
