When teams play the Denver Broncos, they rarely throw in the direction of Champ Bailey. He showed why last night, breaking up a pass to Randy Moss in the end zone, before exiting the game with an injury. The problem for the last few years has been that the other 10 guys on the defense aren't in Bailey's league. In fact, they often seem to be playing a completely different game. Frustration caught up with Bailey after last night's 41-7 pantsing.
"I've always got a nasty attitude. That's just the way I play, but it's not rubbing off on some people, and I don't like it. It's getting very frustrating."This isn't a new phenomenon in Denver. The team's defense has been poor for multiple seasons. No matter how many new players and new coordinators Mike Shanahan brings in to fix the problems, the team remains unable to come up with enough stops to provide a winning record.
They've allowed 30 or more points four times already this season, which indicates that nothing is working. That means Shanahan will go back to the drawing board again this offseason in an attempt to change the team's fortunes and, if history is a guide, will fail to come up with any answers. That begs the question, how much longer does Shanahan get to be the guy charged with leading this team?

Alex your a moron. Champ Bailey is the best all around cornerback in the NFL, and one of the best all time. As for Clinton Portis, well his ego was way too big for the Broncos. I loved Portis, but he choose to be just one of those backs that will be good for a few years. 300 plus carries will do that. With the Broncos he would of had at least a couple of 2,000 seasons under his belt. His legs will give out this year and your Redskins will still stink. "What voter is he doing?" Sounds like your sexually frustrated.

Alex, you are dumb. Your comment is really not even worthy of replying to, since everyone who reads it will instantly know that you are dumb, but I want to make sure that YOU know that you are dumb. "Champ Bailey was a nothing with the Redskins." You are an ignorant fool.

I'm glad Champ's getting mad. It's about time. No one has even thought to throw to his side of the field meanwhile they're 28th in the league in pass yards allowed. He has the ability to shut down randy moss the least the defense can do if stop the third string running back. He had made the defense so much better now its time for players like Dre' Bly to step up Also the defense coordinator needs to stop taking those drugs. They were running screens almost every time they passed it but the corners are still 10 yards off them. It doesn't make sense!

I have always liked Champ Bailey, even when he was a Redskin. He is the only one in my opinion that is a polished corner in the NFL. There's not too many DBs that you can say that about. You rarely hear him complain about anything or getting into trouble off the field. There is a reason why he was picked all pro every year. He has shown that he can hang with some of the best receivers in the NFL. Oh boy, what a great combo that would have been had he been able to stay in Washington when Clinton Portis arrived, but unfortunately, it didn't work out like that. If Sean Taylor was alive, he would have been awesome with him and LaRon Landry. Man, you can't get any better than that.

It's time for Shanahan to move on! Each year his teams explode offensively for the first three games and then fizzle out. Each year his defensive teams get worst and worst. He is unable to make the adjustments and have the depth needed as the season progresses. A coach can't live off of the Super Bowl years forever!

Mike Shanahan is the most over rated coach in the NFL.Year after year, same old results,He brings in over the hill loser and sign them to big contract and they fizzle out.But Pat Bowlen blind loyalty and good old boy buddy system ,he will not fire Shanahan and the poor sheeps that fill the staduim will keep showing up to root on this under achiving team.Broncos need a Jack Del Rio type coach who put the law down that the buck stop here. This team is hard to watch on TV. Jay Cutler will be a great QB,but not under Mike Shanahan

When Champ got to D.C., he learned from the best (Hall of Fame inductee Darrell Green and "Prime-Time". He went to Denver (Redskins got the better of that 1) and became a leader in the secondary. Foxworth and Darrent Williams were learning directly from Champ but Darrent Williams was playing closer to Champ's level and in my opinion he was becoming the next Champ before his untimely passing. Nobody threw his way in Washington because when they did, he made them pay. Nobody throws his way now because he still makes teams pay even though Ocho Cinco gave him 100+ on 7 catches some time ago. Champ is still a....Champ!! The other guys need to step it up. I like the fact that he is being vocal about it. GO SKINS'
