Larry Johnson Practices Self Control, Gets in Another Altercation With a Female

It appears Adam "Pacman" Jones isn't the only one who can't avoid trouble. Running back Larry Johnson of Kansas City was allegedly involved in his fourth physical altercation with a female since becoming a Chief. The alleged incident occurred during the Chiefs' bye week, and Johnson could face some stiff penalties if the story turns out to be true.

ESPN's Michael Smith is reporting that Johnson was at a Kansas City nightclub when he became physically abusive with a woman, the second time this has happened this year and the fourth time in his short career with the Chiefs. Team President Carl Peterson spoke of Johnson on Sunday.
"We are aware of the most recent incident involving Larry Johnson and we are very disappointed with his involvement," team president Carl Peterson said in a statement Sunday. "We will cooperate fully with the Kansas City authorities who are investigating the matter. We have also made the NFL office in New York aware of the incident and officials there are conducting their own independent investigation. "Based upon the NFL Player Conduct Policy, we will have no further comment."
Johnson was suspended for yesterday's game against the Titans and the report coming out was that it might have had something to do with the February 24th incident where a woman claimed Johnson pushed her face away from him at, you guessed it, a nightclub.

The leading rusher for the Chiefs could miss substantial time if convicted of this offense; "it's just a matter of how long," one source said.

Basically it appears to be just another example of a player (or person, for that matter) who can't avoid trouble. If accusations are to be believed, he has a hard time mixing alcohol and females, yet continues to find himself in situations which result in violence. In 2003, Johnson was accused of pulling out a gun during an argument with his ex-girlfriend. Two years later he was accused of pushing a girl to the ground.

If charges are handed out, the Chiefs could be without their star running back for a lot longer than initially expected.
