Boomer Esiason Calls Out Troy Aikman For Being Too Pro-Cowboy

Boomer would be the same way with the Bengals if they were any good.

I've heard Troy make enough critical remarks about the Cowboys to know that he's not totally biased.

this is ridiculous... when you play in the league for that long and with a team that long you can't let go... I'm a die hard redskins fan and I wouldn't even get a little angry with aikman being a tiny bit biased... the man deserves to love his team and be able to show it and i don't see how anyone can get mad over this when every weekend we've got Micheal Strahan and Terry Bradshaw and every other former hall of famer showing respect to their team.

Im a diehard skin fan and Aikman routinely says his favorite player in the league is Clinton Portis. This is bull. Aikman and Moose, even though I hated them as players, are 2 of my favorite announcers.
That said, we still kicked the Cowboys ass a couple weeks back.

I am a skins fan too but you cant hate too much.. I see that Troy is biased to the boys but so is all of FOX CBS and ESPN... Fr example when we beat them the media was talking about how they killed themselves. Last night the cards played a great game, give them credit they had a great special teams play at the end of the game lets talk about that instead....

Kevin M is right. There is way too much bias on Smith's, Irvin's, And Sanders's part. The 3 of them are big mouthed blowhards that couldn't ne neutral if they tried. Aikman does a very good job as Johnston usually does. Bias towards the Cowgirls is also on the field. If you look at all of their games, 3 out of 4 contoversial calls always go in their favor, against any team. I didn't like Aikman calling the Skins' games at first but he surprised me by doing a good job. It is okay to favor your old team some, it is natural, but not to be blatantly biased.

I don't see how anyone can say that after watching last Sunday's game in Arizona. I guess Boomer did not see the hose job the refs gave the Cards with the NFL's blessing.

Boomer has a history of making statements about Hall of Fame commentators(Dierdorf and Aikman), each surpassed his achievements, both on the field and in the booth. Boomer never got the job done with the Bengals of Jets. When you hear "Boomer", you first think of Chris Berman! Think about that one.

I hate the Cowboys and always have but I don't feel that Aikman is that skewed towards the Cowboys, Believe me I would cringe if he did show obvious bias.(and I haven't been cringing)

Aikman is about as fair as it comes in the booth. And I'm a Redskins fan. Deion and Irvin are the worst. I don't think Aikman calls bad games at all.
He and Joe Buck are the best booth team going right now.

So what Troy will always be pro Dallas so will Daryl Johnson so get over it, change the channel, or turn on the radio. Boomer's analysis of Troy is completely and absurdly offbase. If anything, Troy goes too much out of the way not to favor the Cowboys. Boomer couldn't surpass Troy on the field, and he can't touch him off the field either.

You go Boomer! It's about time someone called out this Cowboy Homer. During the Redskins Cowboys game Joe Buck was pointing out how well the Skins were playing and says the Skins are playing quite well, Troy's comment " The Cowboys are playing pretty well too"! Huh? Then last week, When Mcbriar gets his punt blocked to end the game, Troy said he felt really bad for Brian,huh?????

If he want's to be a Cowboy announcer, do local radio, but Fox is just as much at fault for putting him on NFC East games! He's a Jerry Jones suck up!
