A Few More Losses and Bengals Tickets Will Probably Be Free

Imagine that, Bengals fans are fed up with the putridity masquerading as the Bengals football club. The Marvin Lewis All-Stars are currently 0-6, which makes them worse than every other team in the league (including the freaking Rams) except the winless Lions.

For some historical perspective, the Bengals have sported non-winning records 17 of the last 18 seasons. In Lewis' defense, the one winning season came in 2005, when Cincinnati finished 11-5 before, losing to the Steelers in the wild-card game.

That might as well have been 1905 as far as fans are concerned, however, because they've had enough. In fact, things are so bad that Bengals tickets are not only easy to come by, they're being offered below face value.
The online ticket agency StubHub.com has 3,000 tickets for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. At least 4,000 tickets are available for each of the remaining games.

Some sellers don't care about making a profit. There are $64 tickets priced as low as $24.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, more than 4,100 tickets are unsold for the Bengals' Nov. 2 game against Jacksonville, and more than 5,000 tickets are currently available for games against Baltimore, Washington and Kansas City.
Good news, frustrated supporters: Marvin Lewis understands your pain and he asks for your patience while he goes about the business of turning things around. You know, because he just got there ... in 2003.

So any minute now, the Bengals should be relevant. I mean, if you can't win with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Cedric Benson, then you're just not trying.
