It's been four days since "Adam" Pacman Jones and his team-appointed bodyguard got into cat fight at a hotel bathroom, but that doesn't mean Mr. Jones' issues are behind him. And it's not even because the media continues to talk about the incident. Weird.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who reinstated Pacman just before the season on the condition that he somehow manage to avoid trouble for five months, could now choose to suspend the Cowboys cornerback for being too dumb to follow simple instructions.

Via Adam Schefter from this morning's NFL Gameday Morning:
Goodell is considering whether to suspend Adam Pacman Jones and could have a decision early next week when the owners have their meetings...

Now you remember, when he reinstated Adam Jones in June on a limited basis, he came out at that time with a statement that said that his reinstatement was contingent upon acting on a reliable and lawful manner. And so far Pacman Jones has not acted in a reliable manner....

Since Pacman Jones entered the league in 2005 he's been arrested six times, he's been involved with incidents with the police 13 different times. That is going to factor into commissioner Goodell's decision this week...
On Thursday, Goodell told ESPN Radio that "there was some type of incident," so apparently he's aware Pacman may have been naughty. How the commissioner found time to keep up on NFL current events when he's been extremely busy fining players for ... DANCING, well, that's just a testament to his commitment. Or something.

Oh, and Schefter thinks there's a pretty good chance Pacman gets a little time off, which is bad news for a Cowboys defense already short on cornerbacks.
