Disaster averted: according to the always reliable Chris Mortensen (via MDS at PFT), "Adam" Pacman Jones didn't violate his contract when he allegedly scuffled with his bodyguard. And after a lengthy internal investigation (read: a quick look at the depth chart, and the realization that cornerback Terence Newman still isn't completely healthy*), the Cowboys have no plans to discipline Mr. Pacman since, you know, he didn't break any team rules.
Mort reports that the bodyguard, an off-duty police officer, "told team security that some 'kidding around' and 'playfulness' between himself and the player resulted in a brief scuffle in a restroom." That's enough for Hairpiece, apparently.
The head of security for the Cowboys delivered his findings to Jerry Jones, whom sources say is content in the belief the incident has been overblown. However, the owner has reminded the player that Adam Jones' reputation and prior incidents place him under the highest scrutiny.Yes, because we all need to be reminded of that. In any event, Dear Leader Goodell was on ESPN Radio earlier today and is awaiting all the facts before inevitably rendering a guilty verdict.
"It's clear there was some type of an incident," Goodell said. "Once we do understand the facts then we can make a judgment. ... I'm disappointed that we're even discussing this at this point in time," he said.Disappointed, for sure. But surprised? Somehow I doubt it.

suspend Pacman for goodness sake, it's fairly obvious he has no clue. How can he get into something already, he's hopeless.

Jerry Jones believes that whatever occurred, it was Hochuli's fault and not Pac Man's.

It was my understanding that Pacman was already on his last strike, that "anything else happens and you're done" was already the case.
And now he's 'scuffling' with the guy who's supposed to keep him out of trouble?
The NFL should suspend him immediately. Immediately. For a period of 12 months. Without pay. No contact with the Cowboys, no practice, nothing. If the Cowboys make the post-season, no Pacman. he can rejoin the club as of October 9, 2009. And have him sign a contract/release that if anything else happens for the rest of his career, he's done. Permanently.

This is directed to Mr. Jerry Jones,
Mr. Jones you have had the greatest impact on the NFL in recent years as any owner ever has. You are falling short in you r picking of a coach since Jimmy Johnson, you have turned away from all of the reasons why you selected Jimmy Johnson, and turned to people that has not and will not give you a championship. It's a reason that Dave Campo, Wade Phillips has already fallen short they can't take you to the championship level. Bill Parcels use to have it but he doesn't have what it takes to work with young players of today to win. Go back and look at why you selected Jimmy Johnson and select a coach with those qualities and you'll again be known as the best owner in football in the NFL and if you don't you be known as your present team is a lot of talent but can't win the championship, which I knwo you want so dearly.

If he were still a Titan, he'd be suspended for life. But he's a Cowboy now, so this will swept under the rug.
Roger Goodell, a man of integrity.

Forget about Pacman, Roger Goodell has more important things on his mind like how in the hell did a white guy ( Matt Jones ) get arrested for cocaine possession. Maybe Dallas should get rid of Pacman and bring in Matt Jones so you guys and gals can look the other way as does all sports teams with good players that get in and out of trouble (Steve Howell) ex- Dodger and Yankee pitcher.

Wow, talk about overreacting. Adam Jones didn't even do anything wrong. All Pacman did was mess around with his body guard and get into a "scuffle". Don't get sucked into the media hype and believe everything you hear, most of the time the media just needs a story and will over exaggerate stories just to get it. As far as the Cowboys being "America's Felons", I'm not seeing it. Name one player on the Cowboy's current roster who has been arrested while actually ON the team. None come to my mind. You may point to T.O. as a bad guy, but despite his whining and sometimes disruptive nature, he has NEVER been arrested. The Cowboys seem to do a very good job at taking in talented, but troubled athletes and helping to set them on the right path, athletes like Tank Johnson and the disruptive T.O. I don't mind if you bash a player for misbehaving and breaking NFL conduct policies, but don't him if he hasn't done anything wrong.

Yo Jack, when can we expect America's #1 franchise to actually step up and win a playoff game? Seems to me there is a lot of noise coming from Texas but very little substance since Micheal, Emmitt and Troy retired. Overated is the word for the day and you will learn it's true meaning come January. Lesser teams??? Put down the crack pipe Jack, lmao.
