O.J. Simpson Had an Acquittal Party Planned

O.J. Simpson has made lots of mistakes in his life ... some allegedly and some actually quantifiable within a court of law. The latest "real" mistake though, is just an example of Juice messing with the karma that has been so kind to him (lost Heisman trophies or no, he still got off on the Brown - Goldman thing).

That's because, while heading towards the conclusion of his Las Vegas armed robbery trial, O.J. planned an acquittal party. I wish I was joking.

Simpson associate Thomas Riccio, after an in-studio interview Friday with radio talk-show host Anthony Crivello and retired Las Vegas police detective Phil Ramos, invited them to join O.J.'s entourage at an undisclosed location.

"That's how certain he was," Crivello said during an interview on Saturday, a day after Simpson and co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart were found guilty on all counts, including armed robbery and kidnapping with a deadly weapon.

"He's been predicting a hung jury," said Ramos, who attended the trial and provided expert commentary on Crivello's show, "The Sicilians" on Fox Sports Radio KBAD-AM, 920.

Maybe that prediction just stemmed from prior experience? Who knows.

What I do know is that you never plan a party like that so early, because it always comes back to bite you, like Simpson now.

It's pretty phenomenal though, and a testament to the type of person that Juice really is, that he actually went this far. In other words, we see (I think) O.J. as some bungling murderer in the Naked Gun fashion, but in reality, he's an incredibly cocky criminal who is finally getting his come uppin's.

His poor children--thats the real tragedy here. First they lose their mother, then they have to deal with hearing the terrible things from the media, and now their rotten dead beat father goes to jail.

OJ's kids are all grown up. He had them for 13 years, and they must be 18 or older by now.

OJ probably messed up those kids, just by being who he is and them knowing what he did. He not only took the kids from their much loved mom, he also killed their mom, and then they grew up with their mom's murderer! And I am SURE they knew all about it! New OJ's coming right up!

It is very sad,about the children.I don't think he's been enjoying his life since he murdered his wife and Ron.No body likes him in California.I don't know how anybody with a consious could live after such a savage gruely death he did to them,Sheer Horro.Oh,That's Right ....O.J. doesn't have one.

if I was him,I'd be terrified....horribly.Fear....I'd be afraid,very afraid.That is when he will truly be convicted.Yes,the Jesus died on the cross for us and forgives us for our sins.But,something like this...

Don't feel sorry for his children....they are in their 20's now, they are not little kids. I am sure, over the years, they know their father killed their mother. It's about time he gets some jail time. He seems to think he is the teflon Don, but he ended up in jail too, in due time.

Unfortunately he will probably be acquitted on appeal. They will claim there is no way that he could receive a fair trial because people would want to convict him because he got off for murder and unfortunately that is the way the law works.

This here makes the most sense: "You can't cheat the devil" wonderful job. To be honest it would have been hard to find a non-bias jury, after all his murder trial was infamous. Oh and I would like to add, he could not be serious to think that he would have been able to slap the system in the face and not receive any backlash in the process.

Hmmm....looks like that "karma" thing came back to bite him in the ass. He has laughed in the Brown's faces for so long. It's about time he was made to pay for his crimes of 13 years ago. This verdict was just a way of making him pay for one crime by convicting him of another. Good job! See ya in hell, Juice!!!

I think OJ got a raw deal this time around. This man was found innocent for the murder of his wife and Mr. Goldman. There are still people out there that think this man actually kill his EX Wife and Mr. Goldman. OJ did not get a fair trial in the state of NV...There were people on that jury who already thought that he was guilty...

A raw Deal?He went into a situation that was going to be an offense that was not LEGAL!He was on video.He was on tape.No matter the reason for his doing what he did..HE DID IT!In Nevada,a gun will get you double the penalty.He broke the law.If I did it the same way he did it,I would be guilty too.He go what the law says!YouDO NOT go somewhere and take stuff.You notify the AUTHORITIES and they will get your stuff back.No raw deal.It is what I would have gotten had I done what he did.Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

He is an idiot and his arogance got him back into trouble. He should have drifted off into the sunset. But he had to be arrogant and think he is above everyone.
