Why, you ask? Because the No. 1 overall draft pick from 2002 is now a perfect 1-for-1 on this season with one touchdown strike. That gives him a 127.1 QB rating he'll never, ever sniff again for the remainder of his career. All in all, I'd say life's looking pretty good at the moment for the former Bulldog.
One little problem though. Fall is officially here, and that means colder weather. And Mr. Carr, you simply cannot keep that kind of production up without your mittens.

Luckily for you there isn't a rating system on fanhouse. this lame post would warrant a zero putting you 127 points behind Carr.
One thing I haven't heard enough people say about David Carr - he was NOT the problem in Houston. Yes, he struggled. But one thing you can say about Carr - he was on the field playing every Sunday. While Schaub continues to find one reason after another to sit the bench (my head hurts, I'm sick, I twisted my ankle wah, wah, wah), Carr was out there taking a pounding (and I do mean a pounding) week after week.
And once the team threw Carr under the bus and proclaimed that he alone was the reason the team had not progressed, they cut him off, gave the new -and unproven - qb his jersey number and bragged about how they would finally become a winning team.
0-4, right?
Seriously? You haven't heard that lame defense before? It was on everyone's lips last year, till it turned out that Carr stunk and even Vinny at 47 was a better NFL QB. All it takes is watching Carr in person. You'll sound like every Texan or Panther fan afterwards.
Anyone notice how the Texans miraculously cut their sacks in half by cutting Carr? Not a single new OL, all they did was replace the QB. Anyone else notice that the Panthers' sack rate doubled when Carr was their QB?
Hmmmmm, I wasn't a math major but I can add 2 and 2.
david carr is someone who never progressed at Houston. He stunk because he didn't care. The little things QBs do like become friends with their star receiver, Andre Johnson, Carr never did. He should have just run like crazy, that's when he was dangerous.
By the way, David Carr had the same QB coach Tony Romo did, Carr just didn't care and now he is a bust.
The Texans never drafted another QB because Charley Casserly, the GM who drafted him could not admit he'd made a mistake. The Coach Gary Kubiack lied to the owner and told him he could make him a QB so he could get the head coaching job and then made him look worse than he already was. He's a backup, that's all he'll ever be.
I agree, this post is absolutely retarded. The gloves catalog filled with college players and retirees are just as retarded. Where do you find some of these writers? Maybe you should open casting calls for real fans who will write real interesting stories, or perhaps real funny articles when they're meant to be funny. You could've done better by just posting the picture and writing one sentence saying Carr previously auditioned for a mickey mouse role...but what's this...just more boring garbage on the internet
