For a guy who has done next to nothing this season and who swore off the local media last season, Chad Ocho Cinco has been doing a lot of talking today. He opened up quite a bit in a conference call to Dallas-area media earlier in the day. Then after practice he decided to open up to the local media:
"That's America's team. It's one of the greatest organizations ever. This week, to show my respect for Dallas and its owner, Jerry Jones, I'm going to score and I'm going to kiss the star. I'm telling you, I'm not being rude about anything, I'm going to kiss the star. It's going to be fun. I'm excited to go to Dallas. You know, T.O., you've got two of the don't-know-what-is-going-to-happen-next receivers playing. It's going to be fun."
I guess Chad feels intimidated by not being the loudest receiver in a football game. Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens has had his own issues with the media this week so it makes sense for Ocho Cinco to get a little antsy. Lord knows we need something to get excited about from this matchup.
Despite the pitiful start by the Bengals, they will get a mostly national audience to show how bad they are. Since this is a rare Cowboys game for CBS, they are putting their top broadcast team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms on the game.
Chad Being Chad

The Bengals star is known for his antics both on and off the field. "I'm the type that I want everyone to like me and what I do." The outspoken wideout has always found creative ways to push the NFL's celebration rules.

Love him or hate him, you have to give him credit for his creativity when it comes to bringing laughs. Johnson put this sports jacket on after a 39-yard touchdown pass against the Baltimore Ravens in 2007.

Johnson began sporting a blond mohawk in '06, a look that morphed into a team marketing ploy. Blond rubber scalps were sold in the team gift shop.

According to Chad, Tiger Woods has nothing on his golf game, as he showed versus the Ravens. The showman once used the pylon to putt the football after scoring a touchdown.

In another premeditated move, the Bengals wideout resuscitated a ball in the end zone after a score.

Johnson has also used his celebrity for good causes. In 2007, he raised money for charity by racing a horse. Thanks to a head start, he won the race by several lengths.

Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys never seem to amaze me
it seems like this team is buying their way to a superbowl they like to aquire players from other teams who have behaviorial problems (T.O.)(Adam "Pac Man" Jones) and now Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson lets see what happens down the road in November and December weeks 9 thru 17 when it really matters

The Cowbabies are already sad over the perceived slight of Rock Cartwright disrespecting their silly "star". (To me, it just looks like a bird ate berries and pooped at midfield.) If the Chadster does what he says, it will be good times for all of us who despise the classless franchise in Dallass. Reminds of this one time that a WR danced on the star to celebrate a TD. I can't remember his name, but I think he played for SF. He goes by a nickname, two letters, like TP or something, I forget. Anyway, go for it Ocho! Moon their bench while you're at it.

Alot of people are just haters. And I'm sitting and watching the game. And njustv by reading some of your comments, you are just vcrazy. T. O. may cry alot but his team is winning. So it you bare telling another player to moon the cowboys, then you need to really get yourself together. do you have respect for anyone. I mean please.

Of course it was TO! I was being satirical, Lewis. Sharon, I'm not crazy, just loquacious. Maybe a little pernicious. TO and his team didn't win against DC last week....how'd they do in the playoffs last year? They won't be winning anything when Owens repeats his meltdowns of the past. It's only a matter of time.

I understand you hate the Cowboys. It's gotta' be painful hating the most successful franchise in the history of the modern NFL.

Jeff, I would say the 49ers are the most successful of the modern era. They have won 5 Superbowls and lost none. Dallas has lost at least three. I also don't remember too many years when they won 13 games and choked to the Giants in the first playoff game. Also you are implying that I'm jealous of them. As I've mentioned before, I would rather have the three SB titles DC has won with class and character than the five that Dallas has gotten with criminals, crackheads, and gun-toting coaches. Plus, as a Redskins fan it's my duty to hate the Cowboys. It's called a rivalry. Hail to the Redskins!

So its okay for the Yankess to pursue championships through buying some franchise players....let's see if we can buy some team work all you nay sayers need to back off and just let the football up to the football players and keep the media out of this. Bottom line T.O. is one of the best and will continue to be no matter how he reacts to the media. Just remember that there are 10 other guys on the field that play a role!!!!!

How about if TO actually catches more than he drops. Remember last year he was the wide receiver who had the MOST DROPPED passes. So before we have to listen to him cry anymore, do you think he could do his job first.
