It didn't take long for new Rams interim head coach Jim Haslett to reverse the biggest decision that the recently fired Scott Linehan made this season. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the Rams will put quarterback Marc Bulger back in the starting lineup and move Trent Green back to the bench.
Linehan made the surprise decision last week to replace Bulger with Green, a decision that was immediately ripped by many of the players in the locker room. Haslett apparently agrees with the dissent that was voiced by Rams players.
The bottom line, though, is that this is a bad football team for reasons other than the play of the quarterback position, and neither Bulger nor Green is going to make the Rams a good team. Haslett can put the deck chairs back where they were, but he's still the captain of the Titanic.

Guess steven jackson and his crybaby buddies are happy now. They quit on Linehan. This overrated jerk missed training camp even though he had another year left on a contract he signed when he came into the league.Ugly f8ck thinks he's the next Dickerson.

Talk about being thrown into the meat grinder. I almost feel sorry for Haslett. Not really until the skins play them, after that though....

Here we go again!,(Jeff George Jr. is back!, "Waaaaaaah!, I don't want to play for Scott Linehan anymore!".....yuch!)
Late last night I heard they plugged Haslett in. He allready ran a good team with talent into the ground in N.O. Think, that's why in the "greatest show"(with Warner I mean) days they gave us a hard time. The lines on both sides, wow!, Neole, Turley, Willie Roaf on D" Johnson, Grant was it? Glover(in his prime a pro bowl end), the big wide fat guy?, I forgot his name?, they had young Ricky Willliams, and accurate Jeff Blake(when healthy), if they were not ravaged by injuries themselves in 2000, they would have went to the S.B instead of NYG if you ask me(they would have failed against Baltimore most likely, but were more balanced then NYG if you ask me).
But if you remember the SAINTS, and the BUCS gave us a hard time in those years especially because they were the two teams in the NFL(don't count the cheating PATS) that could rush 4 men, not blitz much, dropping alot of thier men back in coverage, and still pressure Warner, and they(Saints, BUCS) had speedy athletic lb's, and a good secondary. Any way Haslett had talent there, and maybe it was the brass thier, but seemed to dismantle that team, maybe I'm wrong to blame Haslett, but this I know, he's been a terrible defensive coordinator so far with us, Forgive me if I'm wrong, and this 4-3 is Linehans idea(then I apologize Coach Haslett), but why have a 6-3"-263 lb man(drafted second overall!)a hands in the dirt small DE, when you can have him as a huge pass rushing OLB!
Little would probablly benefit too, and why is Witherspoon not blitzing more?, we saw in the past that the guy has a knack for it, I'm puzzled. Anyway, last night I'm trying to give Haslett the benefit of the doubt, and what happens?, he puts back in the worst team cancer....Jeff George Jr.???? Bulger, who does have raw talent, but is a whiner, a weiner, and a loser. Why this? At least.....AT LEAST....put in one of the young guys like Berlin, see what he has, or Gradkowski.
Hey, like I said to a friend with Green in we lost 30-14, with Bulger in we would have lost like 35-7, or maybe worse, so what, we still lost. I was dissapointed with Green(I'll admit when I was wrong, about having a chance to win, I was not wrong, but not about getting rid of that weiner Bulger though!), a sound veteran(Green), kind of comming unhinged in the later part of the game, it was disapointing, but the whole team was flat at half? it was the weirdest thing I ever saw, in the first we were on fire, all around the ball, in the second, everyone fell asleep, yeah it was bad. I still think you have to factor in some rust when thinking of Green, and he wasn't all bad, maybe give the guy another shot, especially against his old team in Washington, but the other babies might start whining, we can't have that! Plus does anybody want to hear Bulger whining about not wanting to play for Jim Haslett ever again?, I think we could all live withought that!
I guess Linehan wasn't just a goat, he may have really been that bad. But, he got hired because he was a great O" coordinator, hopefully he will go back to that, and be proud of being at this level, and being great at play calling, and what not. Too bad Linehan didn't try to clean house of all the old Martz infected players earlier(maybe he couldn't even if he wanted too!), he may have had a better chance, plus the Rams have drafted horribly the last 7-8 years, so what chance did this man have anyway? Shaw, and Zygmount should have been going out the door with this man, but I believe, and I'm not sure, but I believe that these are all family friends, through Madam Ram(R.I.P), and it will be handled more delicetly by Chip, o.k, I understand, you can't just waltz into Uncle John's office, and Uncle Jays office, and fire them, o.k. But Shaw, and Zygmount made some nice moves with Vermiel, and Armey, then from what I believe(I have heard, am not sure though)ran them out, they helped to build something good, then with a snap of a finger, meddled with it, and now a championship team just the other day, is a giant pile of crap, a laughing stock, it's like the horrible 90's again, they must be held accountable for this screw up, even if the horrible 90's run was forgotten.
Changing the subject back to Jeff George Jr.(and even Jeff didn't whine, and pout like a little baby, I'll give him that!, then again, maybe he did!!!!)they(the RAMS) even got rid of Jim Everett(Everett was better than Bulger if you ask me) in the 90's when we lost, but Jeff George Jr. holds on like grim death, his compatence at qb, and starting job never questioned, until Linehan last week(you were still right about that one coach!)he must have naked pictures of Shaw, or Zygmount with a hooker or something. WE HAVE NOT HAD A WINNING SEASON SINCE 2003!(I REPEAT) WE HAVE NOT HAD A WINNING SEASON SINCE 2003!, any other qb in history(ANYONE!) would be held accountable, now its like Linehan practically was fired just for taking old "buttercup" out of the lineup. it sickens me, well people will be amazed that someone(Haslett) can actually be worse than Linehan, we will see, so far in just a matter of hours as head coach he has allready screwed up. One last thing before I go, Haslett cut Bulger once(see, everyone has thier good points!), he does'nt believe in Jeff George Jr., deep down inside, this is what I believe, could be wrong, but he doesn't believe in this punk, he just has no " " well you know the word, I'm sickened by this mess! Scott L. Jinks(SGJINKS) p.s "yeah, yeah, I know the post is long,.... blah, blah, blah......"THE RAMMY WHAMMY WILL BE BACK!
