Derek and Braylon during happier times
In what is quite possibly one of the worst games, well, ever, the Browns and Bengals have managed to put a whopping nine points on the board through the first 40 minutes of "action."
Ironically, the most activity for Cleveland's offense has come on the sidelines in between Derek Anderson interceptions/incompletions. Late in the third quarter the Browns "starting" quarterback, who is just 5 of 13 for 44 yards with a pick, got in a heated discussion with wideout Braylon Edwards after the Browns' seventh series lasted four plays and gained a solitary yard.
Jamal Lewis had to break up the jawing, which was nice of him, although I'm guessing we'll probably see Brady Quinn one way (Anderson get's benched) or another (Anderson get's Code Red-ed) today.
If you're a Browns fan and are looking for a silver lining, here's all I got: this'll all be over in 11 more weeks, and then you can focus your attention how Phil Savage is going to convince Bill Cowher to replace Romeo Crennel.
UPDATE: Silver lining No. 2: Edwards and Anderson are BFFs again after Braylon hauled in a nice one-handed touchdown grab to give the Browns a 10-6 lead. So, yay for giving 110 percent, playing through adversity, blah blah blah.

if the browns front office had any brains, at the end of this season, they would say bye-bye to crennel and offer bill cower a fat contract to bring him back to where he started his coaching career in the first place. cower dosent put up with all the bs that the browns current coach does. if we had a good coach wed be in the playoffs every year.
