Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Brian Griese threw 67 passes on Sunday, completing 38 of them for 407 yards. The Bears never sacked him once.To watch an opposing quarterback drop back to pass 67 times and never put him on his back has to be frustrating for a defensive player. And Bears defensive end Adewale Ogunleye says it's all about attitude.
From the Chicago Sun-Times:
''We're probably not being as aggressive as we should,'' Ogunleye said. ''We come out the gates in these games and we punch people in the mouth and all that good stuff, and then it seems like we're thinking about off days, you know. Maybe that's the case. Guys just have to stay focused on these wins -- I mean, on the games -- and finish out the games. There's 60 [minutes], and Tampa just proved that last week, you have to play every minute of those games.''The Bears' pass defense wasn't totally inept against the Bucs -- they did, after all, have three interceptions -- but the numbers on the pass rush don't look good for Chicago.
The Bears' opponents have now thrown 137 passes against them in three games (the second-highest total in the league), and the Bears have just five sacks to show for it, ranking 20th in the league. Ogunleye is right; the Bears aren't being as aggressive as they should.

the defensive playcalling on that last drive of the game was totally suspect. Who plays prevent defense guarding a seven point lead? Only the Bears.

Well the Bucs O-Line is pretty solid, even without Davin Joseph going into the game against the Bears ,the Bucs Backs had the highest yards per carry in the NFL at over 6 yards per carry. And Ronde Barber I don't know what his deal was but he was getting beat everytime,Thats unlike him.You don't normaly see another team throw in his direction as much as the Bears did.But anytime these two teams play its always a defensive game.I was suprised that there was as much yardage gained in this game as there was.
