The New Orleans Saints have signed quarterback Joey Harrington, Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting. The Saints now have three veteran quarterbacks on their roster, with Mark Brunell already serving as the backup to starter Drew Brees. Harrington will presumably be the No. 3 quarterback and likely won't play this season unless both Brees and Brunell get hurt.
Harrington has been out of work since the Falcons cut him just before the start of the regular season. He started 10 games for the Falcons last season, completing 61.8 percent of his passes while throwing seven touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Joey Heisman is the Reid Doughty of quarterbacking. Dennis Dixon could outplay him without any knees.

Ah, but his numbers aren't really that bad, especially considering the calibre of team he's played on. I've followed Sunshine's NFL career and have been disappointed by him. He's usually not the reason you lose, but then again is also not why you win. Often plays well enough to lose. I'd say he's a decent second quarterback.

LOL, Atlanta fans are funny. How many games did you expect to win last year? Starting QB in jail. Team in total disarray. Coach firing most good players. And speaking of the Coach.....
