Usually when a team is struggling, spinning their wheels and clearly on a downward spiral ... they tend to try to spin things a bit more so fans don't jump ship.
The Cincinnati Bengals aren't your usual team and Marvin Lewis isn't a compassionate coach.
During his weekly press conference, Lewis was asked a pretty impossible question and gave a very unsatisfying answer:
Q: Any advice for fans on the ledge after the loss at Baltimore?
Marvin Lewis: Do what you've got to do. That's what the focus is. If you're a fan, then be a fan. You get to determine that.
So, jump Bengals fans!!!
And they are. Tickets for games this season are selling way under face value. Talk radio has been filled with fans just dumping all over the team. Fans are even wanting to trade away Carson Palmer ... the one guy that seemed to have the most love around here.
Of course, this is Cincinnati. If they find a way to beat Tennessee on Sunday then the fans will have that fire burning again. Well, at least until their next embarrassing loss.

Overaction as usual. I am a Redskins fan so I know what overaction is in the worst way. I understand what coach Lewis is saying, if thye are true fans they will be there not matter what.
My feeling, and I make it known to every Skins fan who talks about "jumping", if you don't like the product in the store, go elsewhere to shop.
