Tom Brady's injury is a bad thing for many people on a number of levels. Bad for the Patriots in the AFC East. Bad for Brady because his knee is kind of funked. And bad for fantasy owners, because according to Darren Rovell, if Brady is out for the season, his collective ownership will lose $150 million. Here's how the math is done.See, I would have had it pegged for more -- there are TONS of fantasy football leagues in which none of the prizes are monitored by any website or agency of any kind. Hell, I'm in at least ... um, zero of them. Yes, zero.
Brady's incredible year last year, which included a record 50 touchdown passes, meant that about 50 percent of the people who drafted Brady last year won their leagues, Thomas said. With the Brady hype not bought by all, Thomas said that it was believed that about 30 percent of leagues this year would be won because of Brady.
With about $500 million in fantasy prizes on the line, that's a $150 million shift in dollars. And some think that's at the low end of the spectrum since the total value of office pools is tough to ascertain.
Of course, this whole fiasco -- Brady going down and ruining your fantasy football season -- could have been completely avoided had you listened to the experts at Fantasy FanHouse. We did, after all tell you not to draft Brady. Of course, in fairness we said to do that because he's overvalued and not because we have Bernard Pollard on the payroll, but still, we said it.

Who said he cheated? The ahole from the Jets management with sour grapes because he wasn't kept by the Patriots?
It was a dirty shot and Pollard will get his due - so will you.

God don't like ugly. That's just what New England gets for cheating and the nfl didn't do enough about it when it was proven. So God took things in his own hands and oops there goes Brady,He may never play again, for sure not this season. As they say cheaters never win.................LOL

Get a life. Every team in professional sports cheats in one way or another. It's not right but it happens. The fact is, Boston has great sports teams and we are proud through the good and the bad times...maybe you could learn something here...

Yes, it was all God's doing because we know He has nothing better to do than to punish the Patriots forever for cheating. Get over it, pat.

I read some of the comments and ofcourse many people have many views. It isn't a laughing matter when someone is faced with a leg and knee injury. I wonder of what kind of person could say negitive statments about brady or the Pats just because of their belielfs in what happen in the season last year over the sideline pictures or taping. Some , I feel with these negitive thoughts, are the ones who in college and even high school never played a sport but was a sideline perfect player. Before statments are said facts should be before you, everything that happened was looked at from every view, why is it the ones who job is to find out if wrong doing is going on, after they report its not, the sideline players say what they want without facts. It was said in a few reading statments about good karma, to those who stated this was caused because of karma should learn what karma is about. anyway, wishing someone well is karma, happy for someone with karma is living it, even moreso enjoying it. My best to the pats and brady, this is a small speed bump.

God didn't do Brady harm either - a dirty player did.
Besides, the Jets cheated and the Ravens called them on it in the Baltimore paper the following week but NOTHING has ever been done about it. They were out and out flagrant - maybe that is too big of a word for you to understand with your mentality.

Hope you've never cheated on your taxes, or on a test back in school, or ever. If so, watch your knees. Your god is a very cruel and vengeful god.

Really? God busted Tom Brady's knee? Forget starving children. Forget the wars going on around the globe as we speak. Forget genocide. God took vengeance on the New England Patriots for filming a practice. Really?

HUH! No one remembers that taping WAS legal in the league before. The only one badmouthing was previous employees cuz they got canned. I've been a fan for many many years. ALL teams have their good years and everyone can't wait til they are crappy again so they can go ha ha my team is better. Some of you people are just angry your team isn't that good. I'll continue to be a Pats fan and cheer for them. I think people should say good things about the teams they cheer for and MYOB the rest!

It was bound to happen. I mean, I am sorry to hear that he is injured and I wash him a speedy recovery but anyone who is put on a pedastol as high as he is/was, is bound for a very hard falling off.
