We'll get a good chance to see if the Titans passing problems are caused by the sub-par receivers or Vince Young, as it looks like Kerry Collins will be the QB for the next two-to-four weeks. ESPN is reporting that Young suffered a strained MCL in his left knee that will keep him out for a few games (on Sportscenter Chris Mortensen is reporting the two-to-four week timetable). If you're going to injure a knee ligament, the MCL is the "best" ligament to injure as it usually has a quick recovery time. And if you were going to pick a spot in the schedule to have Young out, this is a pretty opportune time--the Titans face the Texans (coming off a shellacking by the Steelers), the Vikings and Ravens in the next three weeks then will have a bye.
But if Young's injury lasts just a little longer, Jeff Fisher may have a tough choice. If Young misses five weeks, his return would be just in time for this year's first game against the Colts. Would you put an injured quarterback back in the lineup for the Colts game, or stick with Collins if he has a hot hand?
It probably won't come to that, but depending on how well Collins plays over the next couple of weeks, Fisher may have some tough decisions to make.

The Titans are a much better team without Young. Example.....Collins came is on a 3rd and 15 and drove them all the way down for a touchdown. If Vince would have stayed they probaly would have lost. He is well over rated. Warren Moon is a QB. Vince is a runnig back with an arm. Yes they can beat teams but it has nothing to do with him. The defense is so good Joe Namath can come back and still will win 10 games. The defense will carry this team unitl they meat up with another tough defense. That means no playoff wins, ever, with Vince.

Once again the league and the analysts underestimate the Titans. I look for the Titans, even without Vince in the line up, to be the most solid from top to bottom in the league. Yes they will miss his run threat, but this year they can make up for it with the best young running back talent in the league. This year they do not lose the run threat when Vince is out of the line-up. I think the time off will inspire the young Young, and allow him to reflect back to what makes him the threat he is. He needs to quit thinking so much (get out of his own head) and go back to his natural instictive, reactive style of football. And oh what a DEFENSE. Enough said.

The best thing that happened yesterday was Young to sit on the bench with his head in his hands. He didn't even stand on the sidelines and support his team to victory. Collins would have! Collins is the better quarterback anyway. Vince is an overpaid disappointment.

Vince was defeated before he started. I can't remember him making 1 positive play. Collins on the other hand led them to victory. It is a shame to have such an incredible defense like the Titans have to have such a sorry quaterback like Young who can't do anything with it after he gets it.

Vince Young will go down in NFL history as one of the biggest flops ever. Kerry Collins is better anyway. Watch.. he'll move the offense. VY is a hinderance. Titans will finally figure out that VY doesn't have the smarts to play in the NFL.

Ooooh! Another killer defense for our poor little rich QB and our Collins sitting on the bench! We TEXANS cannot buy a break! You got Collings we have Rosenfeld, you play VY we play Schaubie, BUT, you win, what a waste of big bucks on poor QBs.
Our team, like yours, is built on favorites not talent.
Texans 4-12 and going south.
