The vikings look pathetic. Tarvarius Jackson is not a super bowl caliber quarterback. The defense still has the problems with stopping the pass. I am very disappointed with Childress and his staff.

The Vikings didn't look the way I expected. Travris has to take control and look at the defense on the field not his players going out of the huddle. The good thing is its the first game of the season not the last but if he doesn't start playing like he belongs there, he will be out and Gus will be in. whitch at this point is not a bad option. You have to play 4 quarters not 1 like childress thinks. That has costed us in previous seasons. The other team is playing all four and we should also. Their is a reason fans are upset. You see a team out their with no enthusizim it sucks. We should be domanant with our team, not waiting for the right moment, but making it happen. I was for Travaris and I don't want to say before I was against him.
Why worry about a stadium for this team, first of all they need the one key player "QUARTERBACK". Whomever thought Jackson was up to the job was totally wrong.
Might I add. This was the worse coaching I have ever seen. Would someone please tell chilly this isn't D.McNab the isn't the eagles this is Viking football. the BLACK and BLUE division. Aggression is protocal. At least look hungry to win. get angry, get pissed, but play football. Hardly any passes in the first quarter. Why go get agressive players if you don't let them play. Wake up coach!!! And start playing real football.
I think the packers came out smoking. way to much talk about Favre. Now maybe they will back off and let our Packers go to the Super Bowl without Favre hanging out. Favre is awesome but he has another team now. Let them brag about him. I felt the commentors were very one sided.(for Vikings)

I am no spring chicken & the Vikes have been my team since their conception in the 60's. Tommy Mason & the rest. Bud Grant is the last best coach they have had with ol' Fran at the helm! Don't know why Wilf puts up with Childress as it's his 3rd year & I know exactly what he's going to call for a play & so does everyone else!! It's either Taylor up the middle or his pick for 1/4 back trying to pass. Do they only know about 4 plays? No flea flickers,no razzle dazzel, no end arounds, no pass defense, & no fire in their butts! Hate to say it but compared to the purple people eaters, it;s very disheartning to see my Vikes like this!
Thats it, enough is enough. This is an extension of last year. A novelty QB and a coach too stubborn to admit his mistake. If the Vikes dont locate a real QB we will be destined for 4 for 12 for 46 yards and an interception every week and Peterson run down and burned out. WILF, CAN CHILDRESS NOW !!
Heres a thought, how about J.Harington? He is a good QB and had bad management in Detroit. and Brian Billck for coach. These two at least have enthusiasim to play the game. chilly thinks the QB looked good. I don't care how he looks if hes not winning. Winning get farther than looking good in the NFL.
Go out there and at least look like you want to be there. Don't look scared, the other team sees it. Its ok to be scared, but don't show it. Fear keeps you on your toes.
