The New England Patriots fell short in February, but they open the NFL season as the betting favorites to get back to the Super Bowl and win it.The odds at Bodog list the Patriots as 7/2 favorites to win it all, putting them significantly ahead of the pack. Up next are the Cowboys at 6/1, the Chargers at 7/1 and the Colts at 15/2. Fans of the defending champion Giants may feel a bit disrespected; they're listed at 20/1.
The Falcons are all the way at the bottom of the odds at 200/1. As we head into the season, there's no team looking as hopeless as Atlanta.
As for my own personal bet, I'd put a little cash on the Seahawks at 25/1. Which probably means you shouldn't.

The Patriots season is not going down like last season when they ran all over everyone. The competition is better in the division. Even Miami was sort of upgraded at QB, Buffalo's D is always good JP Losman is much better, Bretty and the Jets? Look out Pat fans I wouldn't get too comfortable.
