Shhhhhhh. Despite what you may have thought, the ESPY's won't come on live this coming Sunday night. The award show that awards a part of entertainment that has their own awards process was held last night. Justin Timberlake was the host and got the gig of telling stale jokes and ushering in athletes in tuxes and evening gowns.
He did get to chat it up with Brett Favre, who has become somewhat of a news story of late:
"What have you been up to lately? I haven't seen you anywhere," Timberlake said. "Just chillin'? Yeah, me too."
Favre, himself, used the event as an opportunity to make a funny. After receiving his award for
The ice is now broken.
Timberlake also took the time to go into the crowd and give Favre's successor, Aaron Rodgers, a hug. He also referenced a certain incident at a pretty large football contest's intermission variety extravaganza.

Aaron who? What's this guy done again? Puuulease.
I was really proud to see this last night. Clearly, whoever wrote that tribute was soundly on Brett's side - the last line you heard was a commentator saying, "He's the best thing that ever happened to Green Bay," just after, the narrator said maybe others will get to see him play too.
And the standing ovation! It's great to see that PLAYERS "get" it! This is a guy who loves to play that game more than anything, and the Packers pushed him out. Tim Brown confirmed it, ". . . I know for a fact that the organization doesn't want him back. They didn't want him there last year."
I'm so sick of hearing "this is a business." That's code for, "FU Favre, we'll do whatever we want." Well, Thompson and the rest are merely parasites who live off of what Brett and others do. It IS about the athletes, and we, the fans, are privileged to witness it. If this were about "business" or money, Green Bay would be making that argument, but since they're not, I think it's pretty obvious Brett has told them he'll play for nothing. He just loves the game and wants to play. Besides, he's got plenty of money, but money can't buy this time at the end of his career when he can still play with the best of them.
I've had about enough of people who've always hated or been jealous of Favre running this discussion, on the web, and in the media. HOW DARE THEY! Elway had the same kind of retirement controversy for years, till he finally retired IN MAY. I guarantee you the Bronocs would NEVER have treated him so shabbily.
LET HIM PLAY!

I have done a 180 in how I view Favre......Just business????.....huh Brett??? Why don't you do what you say????......phony, crying like a baby....."I'm Done"...."That's it" .....liar. Maybe this is just business to you Brett.....I see you already have your pre-signed JET merchandise out.
The Packers have been around since 1921 and they will be around for alot longer than the Brett Favre BS. What you represented to many, was far more than just business.
If you would have honored your contract (remember Javon) , played out what you had committed to.....NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE.
The Pack moved on due to your flip flopping, non-committal nonsense for YEARS!
Enjoy the Big City...... I'll be laughing when you heave your wounded ducks ala, 2007 NFC Title Game, Let's see how the fans in N.Y. react ......hmmm, maybe something like this
BOOOOOO!!!!!! you freakin' washed up BUM!
16 years of being a Green Bay Packer.......TARNISHED.....put the #4 on the punter, forget about retiring the number......just business right Brett????? Presigned Jets merchandise?????
