Former Cincinnati Bengal Odell Thurman is a wanted man after a Erie County grand jury indicted him on an assault charge. Investigators say Thurman got into a fight with another man at a Sandusky water park May 27th.Oh, it gets better. The fight was over ... a place in line. A freakin' place in line.
Police say he punched a man in the face, breaking his jaw.
The incident occurred just eight days after Thurman was released by the Bengals on May 18th at the Kalahari Water Resort (click on that link for an outstanding theme song) in Sandusky, OH. If you remember, Thurman was released by the team while he was in mourning over the death of his grandmother.
Thurman is currently at large. He is also currently suspended indefinitely by the NFL.
It is unknown (to me) which ride the dispute occurred on. Was it the Rippling Rhino? Maybe the Tanzanian Twister? How about the Swahili Swirl? Or the Zig-Zag Zebra?

RIGHT ON!!!!! I agree 100%. It is getting to be common practice now.with the NFL and NBA "hot shot" stars. They strut around like a bunch of glorified peacocks. Perfect example of moral turpitude. They should be banned for life from involvement in any sporting activity including water boy.

Leave these people alone already. Haven't we done enough damage to them, as well as the Native Americans? I constantly hear remarks like these even today. What would your life be like if you were beaten, mocked, raped; dragged out of your house and castrated; and enslaved for 90% of the country's history? It only since the 1960's that the playing field began to approach something level.

"ghetto" student athletes generate the revenues which allow for these great academic institutions to function. Where do you think the endowment comes from? The science, medical, and mathmetics departments are all subsidized by athletes. At the same time these athletes are basically unpaid athletes who generate millions and millions of dollars annually for the institution.

lol wow... how can you inquire colleges about why they scout people from urban areas? people are people, plain and simple. are you from th 17th or 16 century that u can see that? that, because of the color of some ones skin, the shouldn't have the same chance a white person has to be succesful? colleges target the BEST availible prospects for thier ahletic and academic programs, so you shouldn't wonder what it is about young black youth that is so appealing to university heads and coaches...

Fred, the little dude didn't break in line. This guy, as usual, wanted to be treated "special" so he decides to assert himself ahead of others. I hate the little guy got hurt, but hurrah for him for standing up for his rights. Apparently "Big Foot" is used to intimidating others into submission.
