Tyler Brayton Joins Panthers, Could Now Knee Jerramy Stevens' Groin Twice a Year

Former Oakland Raiders defensive end Tyler Brayton, according to his agent, is "really, really excited about coming to Carolina." Perhaps that's because he's hoping Jerramy Stevens re-signs with the Buccaneers, which would give Brayton two more opportunities to keep Stevens out of the gene pool. Clearly, Brayton is doing the Lord's work here.

Brayton, who started for several years in Oakland but was a back up last season, signed a two-year deal with the Panthers and is expected to compete with Charles Johnson and Stanley McClover for the right defensive end spot. He joins Muhsin Muhammad, Ricardo Colclough and Keydrick Vincent as the Panthers' new free agent signings.
