Notes on a trip to the Super Bowl.Sitting in the overcrowded Phoenix airport and waiting for my flight home, I've counted 21 people wearing Giants jerseys and zero wearing Patriots jerseys. Such is life for football fans on the day after the Super Bowl.
When I arrived in Phoenix I noted that there weren't many people who had the look of real fans, but that's not the case at the airport today. Plenty of Giants fans are here, and I've seen the jerseys of Eli Manning, Osi Umenyiora, Jeremy Shockey, Amani Toomer and Mark Bavarro.
But no jerseys of Tom Brady, Randy Moss or Tedy Bruschi. I'm sure there are plenty of Patriots fans heading home after the Super Bowl, they just weren't in the mood to put their jerseys on today. Can't say I blame them.

Patriots and Patriot fans have nothing to be ashamed of... it's true the team played one of its worst games in 7 years, but the team has given us plenty to cheer about on and off the field...a loss may be a blessing in disguise.... if the pats won.... none of the immature jealous folks around the country would ever let the "spygate" that the media created , die.... what about the jets vs. pats last season as well as the dolphins going on record last season as having all of the patriots "plays" and in their own words that's why the beat the pats 21-0, If the patriots were your team, and Belicheck , your coach...you'd love them both as much as their loyal fans.... get a life and move on, we have

To Pats fan 4eva...
I was honestly rooting for the Pats and I have to say this. Bill B is the absolute sorriest excuse for a coach I have ever seen in my life. That's saying something considering I lived in Indiana during the Bobby Knight years. The display of poor sportsmanship I witnessed last night was a disgrace to New England, the NFL, and professional sports. I hope it gets addressed appropriately.

hey cdc post 5, what are you asking the giants to do take them to the superbowl only to "lose"?
Or should they cheat and stand up and say its okay everyone does it.
You can have all your regular season wins. New York has THE WIN
And an honest coach
Imagine that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations New York,
That was a tough loss against a tough team. The better team won on Sunday, even though I think the Pats would win 18 out of 19 times. It's nice to see Bill Walters basking in the glory of another team, if only he backed the Steelers like that. Some of you say the Pats' season was a complete failure, are you fu*king kidding me, since when is 18-1 a bad year.
Enjoy it you obsessive blog-stalking haters, as I have truly enjoyed this season and am looking forward to next year. That's what's great about sports there's always next year.
It's been fun, oh well, back to reality.

Sure they have to show SHAME. The whole world now knows that the Pats can't win without cheating. This is he best and the most fair season they ever played (previous seasons and SUPOERBOWLS) were only won by cheating.
It is a long way from over "disgusting cheats" and creep
