You seem to think Tom Brady is just really lucky to be in a situation that makes him look good. You wish.
In the six years before Brady took over the starter job, Drew Bledsoe led the Patriots to a 59-53 record, one Super Bowl appearance (a loss to the Packers). In the six years since, New England is 86-26 with three Super Bowl titles and a game away from another.
Brady has won with Troy Brown and Antowain Smith, Deion Branch and Corey Dillon, and in two weeks, we could add Laurence Maroney and Randy Moss to the list. The one constant over that time: Brady. Sure, Bill Belichick has been around too, but he wouldn't be headed to Canton if he didn't stumble across the kid out of Michigan that nobody wanted. Just ask the Cleveland Browns.
Judgment: You are a Bitter, Delusional, Blinded-By-Hate Patriots Hater.
B.D.B.B.H.P.H.s are often chronic drug users. If this is you, please seek help. Even if you're not on the drugs, you should save yourself the heartbreak and find something else to do during the NFL season. I hear handball is the sport of the future...

I don't argue or disagree that Tom Brady is a very good quarterback. So please don't classify me as a delusional drug user. Tom Brady's first Superbowl win is a result of the infamous "tuck rule". If you are a true sports fan and a football fan you know that the wrong call was made on the field, Tom Brady did fumble the football, which would have prevented the Patriots from playing in the Championship game. And please don't dis-count this commment as another bitter Raider fan. During this season the Patriots have clearly been the best team in football, but along the way they have been extremely lucky. The game against the Ravens for example. A ill called time out and a false start were needed to keep the Patriots undefeated. I am not saying the Patriots are not deserving of the praise and Tom Brady deserves the recognition. But always remember that eleven players take the field on offense and eleven players on defense. Tom Brady could not have accomplished anything without his other teammates contributions. Could Tom Brady be good on the Chiefs, probably. But I think the more important questions is could Trent Greene be good on the Patriots. The debate over is it the player or the system may never be answered. I'll be honest being from the west coast I have a good natured dis-like for the east coast teams, that is what makes sports enjoyable. If you liked every team you could never be a true fan of one.

Eat shit Patriots fan. Tom Brady is arguably the league's best quarterback, and his success is well deserved...too bad it's not just Brady and Belichick that make the Patriots unlikeable. Maybe it's because of a season full of controversy, maybe it's because of a man not one player in the NFL seems to have respect for (Rodney Harrison) aka "The Steroid", maybe it's because of Randy Moss, we're supposed to believe he has changed his ways, except when you watch any of his post-game comments he clearly hasn't, plus he enjoys beating on women...classy. The list goes on, but no one likes prefection, unless your a Patriots fan, so go on and enjoy your time as one, because this is the last Super Bowl they'll win for awhile...bitch

Tom Brady is the luckiest QB in the world. He hass a team that wants to win and win Super Bowls and they play that way. It is not Tom Brady that makes the team, it is the team that makes Tom Brady. My dislike for him comes from that. He gets all of the credit, and does not deserve it! I don't think he gives his team enough credit. He woulf fall on his butt if he was the QB for the Chiefs! I am pulling for the Pats to go 19-0, I feel the TEAM deserves it.

This team will obviously do ANYTHING! I can't even look at the coach. How could Bud Selig get down on players who use when Bellychuck has done one of the greatest wrongs I have ever heard of in any sport? Sure he got fined, sure they stomped on the Chargers logo, HOW OLD ARE THESE PEOPLE? I think they are nasty like dog poo, and sure Brett couldn't have played a better game against Eli. Who lays down in the barnyard of football JUST CHICKENS and hey God is watching! You know you can't get away with it without God.

I probably wouldn't care much about them if I wasn't from Buffalo. But since I am, and they pound the hell out of us every time we play them, I hate this team. I hate them so very, very much. Buffalo is playoff bound in 2010!!! Hopefully.

The question is, would Tom Brady and the Patriots be as "great" as they are if they didn't know the other teams plays. Whoever said that cheaters never win, hasn't seen the 07 football season. Tom Brady is a good quarterback, would he have been so great without the coach giving him stolen information. They should have been banned for the season!

Luck, I dont think so. Good quarterback, possibly. I may be bitter, but at least I have a reason. How long has the cheating been going on. The cheatriots should not have gone to the playoffs, much less the superbowl. And this tainted perfect season? If I wasnt convinced that the NFL was rigged before, now I am. Coach and Player of the year??? What are we teaching our kids? Win at all costs? Well in my book It is better to lose, than cheat to win. Mabe that makes me a bitter person, but I am a good American. My husband like many other have been to Iraq, and have been defending our freedoms for years, and for what? Where does it say in the constitution that cheaters are Gods? This country is going to Hell in a handbasket, and this is proof.

The patriots momentum started with the ridiculous "tuck rule" and every true football fan patriots or raiders fan knew that was the wrong call. If that call was not made they do not get the ball rolling and they would never have the records that they have now. end of story.

It is undeniable how much time Brady has had. He is a good quarterback, not a great one. Throwing to Troy Brown is not so bad when you have twice the time as anyone else in the league to throw. He also did not have the great numbers that he has now until he got the best receivers in the league.

Truth be told, I despise the Patriots solely because they screwed the people of Connecticut. A few years ago, the team was going to move out of Foxborough and had signed a deal to move somewhere near Hartford. If they had, then I would have changed allegiances from the Steelers to the Patriots. But the OWNER of the team screwed the state of Connecticut by backing out of a signed contract. Bellichik is a hell of a good coach---his mentor was Parcells. Brady is a good QB, but only because he has that offensive line around to protect him. Put him behind Indianapolis' offensive line and see how well he does. He wouldn't last two games. And his yelling at his teammates makes him look like a big baby. THAT'S why I hate the Patriots. Oh, I forgot to mention something. The Patriots are going to lose because the game is fixed. Don Shula won't have to worry about his "perfect season" any longer.

The best quarter back in the NFL? No, I don't think so!
Brady becomes easily flustered on the field. He's good, sure, but the talent around him is what makes him look better then he is. And I think it's pathetic that he stands there, smug grin and all, accepting all the praise, instead of spreading it around to the people that are holding him up there in the first place!
I'm a PACKERS girl through and through, but next Sunday the Giants (yes, the same Giants that kept MY BOYS out of the superbowl this year) are going to get all of my support. I can't wait to see Brady get knocked down a few pegs! His ego has become far too inflated, and that doesn't look good on ANYONE ... even if you actually have the the "super" talent to back it up.
Quarterback of the year? Oh give me a break! Coach of the year? Are you effing kidding me? I guess anyone could give themselves "perfect" numbers by cheating, eh? WOW, what a thing to brag about!

What everyone is forgetting is that the Colts could have possibly been in the same situation last year. Dungy simply made the choice to rest his starters on the last game of the regular season. I also think everyone is talking Brady up. Thats actually pretty hard to do. He is very good. And its great he is having a perfect season. And yes, it has never been done before but with this type of team who can say it wouldn't. I have no problem with the Patriots. I have a problem with everyone throwing all the glory in a heap at Tom Brady's feet. He is good. He won with other teams. Thats great, it really is and it's a testament to his abilities. But that it's all him out on that field is rediculous. Take away Bill's ingenious coaching mind or the time to eat a cake before he needs to throw or Randy Moss. Now he is an above-average quarterback. Thats it, not the most incredible thing we've ever seen. Don't call me someone who is hating a team for one player on the team, especially if there's a reason for it. Bottomline, He's pretty good, but his team makes him what he is.

Perfect Patriots my ass.
The patriots urk me to no end, I can not stand them. Brady gets too much credit for the work the team does. What I see is a pretty boy crybaby whining to his teammates all the time.
Grow up.
I can't wait until someone sacks his pretty ass. You wont see that smug little grin on his face anymore when he's face down on the logo.
GO GIANTS.

First of all--Bill, I'm with you, man. Tom Brady acts like a baby who acts like the REAL stars of his team--aka the block-like-nobody's-business offensive line and the catch-whatever-kind-of-crap-the-QB-throws wide receivers--are just props set on the stage to make him look good. If I had a nickel for every miracle catch that Moss or the others make, I'd own the Pats and shitcan that whiny Tom Brady. Furthermore, if, by chance, someone else does screw up, missing a pass or allowing God's Gift to football to actually be touched by the defense (Heaven forbid), Brady loses his cool. What an ass!

The patriots are so going down in the super bowl its not even effing funny! Everyone thinks the Patriots are the best team ever, but really all that they are are losers and cheaters. If the Giants only lost to them by 3 points this season, there sure as heck they can win the Super Bowl.
The Giants have also been the "under dog" for the whole play-offs, and there in the Super Bowl! And can anyone give them credit for that? NO! All they can say is "the Patriots will get them". Well, what happens when they don't? Will people just say, "well, they just got lucky" or "they suck anyway" I'm sick and tired of it! The Giants are a great team and if people can't admit that then I have no idea what this world is coming to!
Bottom line: Giants are going to win the Super Bowl and Brady is going to cry home to his momma.

Tom Brady is lucky. You compare him to Bledsoe but he didn't do that much in Dallas either and Romo has taken them deeper into the playoffs. I would never compare Brady to Marino, Elway or Montana. Marino could never win becasue he didn't have a decent running game and the team just on his arm. Alway never won despite being great until the end because he also finally had a balanced team. The patriots under Bill's coaching have been great because of the defense. Take away the defense like in when they beat the Colts when the Pat's offense was held to just 15 points and they lose. The ravens won the superbowl without a great quarterback but with great defense. Take away brady and put a an ok quarterback and the Pats still have superbowl success just as the Niners' could have won in the 94 season without steve young becasue the team was just so complete on defense and offense. So you should stop smoking because Tom isn't that great...good but not great.
