Though Cam Cameron's Dolphins got most of the heat this season (and rightfully so), let's not forget that through eight games they were equaled in terribleness by the Rams -- each team was 0-8. Though I don't think St. Louis is the second-worst team in the league, as their draft status suggests, extenuating circumstances don't change the fact that there are fatal flaws on offense that need to be corrected. Cameron thought he could resurrect a fledgling Dolphins team, and we know how that turned out, but he might be better suited fixing the Rams offense, as both ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Fox's Jay Glazer are reporting on their networks' respective pre-game shows that he is probably poised to be the Rams' new offensive coordinator.
You might be asking, "Don't the Rams have a coordinator in Greg Olson?" They did; it hasn't been announced but it appears as if Olson has long packed his belongings. You can only call a five-yard slant on third-and-15 so many times before it costs you your job.
Cameron was clearly overwhelmed as head coach. It doesn't help that he was given a team finally ravaged by years of negligence, but Cameron is just one of those guys better suited as a coordinator. Let's not forget the job he did constructing San Diego's attack.
So moving to a team like St. Louis, which has some pieces on offense, makes sense. I'd never call Steven Jackson and LaDainian Tomlinson equals, but Cameron will at least have another elite back. Likewise, while Randy McMichael is no Antonio Gates, he's capable of making plays if used (which the Rams didn't do). Though they need a lot of youth and talent at receiver and offensive line, Cameron did a good job with the Chargers getting enough out of minimal talent. This year was a disaster, but if the move happens he'll be putting himself in a good situation to repair his reputation.

Changing OC is a start but the real problem is the front office and ownership. They're the ones who need to start caring about wins and losses rather than the prstige and tradition of onwership - a long time Los Angeles/St. Louis RAMS fan...

Wonder how McMichael will respond to the man that screwed him in Miami? Cam showed no brains or class for that matter in kicking Randy to the curb. His replacement in Miami, David Martin is at best a practice squad player who Cam thought was a pro-bowler. Good luck Rams, you're gonna need it. Linehan would be better off just doing the job himself. Linehan is 10 times the OC that Cameron is.

Are you kidding me? Olson and Boudreau are just scapegoats here. When control freak, temper-tantrum-throwing Linehan had the play calling wrenched from his hands last year and handed over to Olson, they won a few games, improved their stats, and were actually fun to watch. Was Olson really even calling the plays early this season? It looked like Scott's nose was hovering over everything he said into the mic. And their record sure didn't improve after Linehan took over the play calling, what does that tell you? If Linehan had a leadership bone in his body, he would take responsibility for single-handedly dismantling this team and pack his bags instead of throwing his staff under the bus. It's clear that neither the team nor his staff has any respect for him. He should take lessons from a coach with a little class, like Tony Dungy or Dick Jauron...

Linehan should have been fired a long time ago, the players don't even like him, so how is he going to get these players to play for him this coming year when they don't like him or respect him.

Rams need to start all over, Linehan is a big joke,
he has no idea how to coach at this level, his players have no respect for him, I agree with with Dean, Linehan was calling the plays almost all season, lets get a good coach
