Why We Care: To be honest, the level of caring surrounding this game is at a minimal. Neither team is playoff bound and the only real effect this game will have on either team is the determination of a few selections higher in the 2008 draft. Knowing that the final score of the game means very little, we've got a couple of things you can watch for after the jump as well as Brian Westbrook audio.
Brian Westbrook Sets Records
The elusive running back out of Villanova should set the franchise record for yards from scrimmage, surpassing my father's all time favorite Wilbert Montgomery, and could potentially set the the record for receptions. Westbrook currently trails Wilbert by one yard. Brian was on 610 WIPs Howard Eskin show on Friday discussing the different records as well as sharing his thoughts on Donovan McNabb and the future of the Eagles. You can listen to the audio below.
Kevin Kolb Sighting?
We told you earlier in the week that Donovan McNabb would like to see rookie Kevin Kolb get some snaps on Sunday. Donovan's sentiments are shared by almost all Eagles fans. In a meaningless game, it would be a nice preview of what the franchise position could look like for the next decade. Whether Kolb will see any actions remains unclear, but the way Andy Reid has been hinting, it looks like Kevin may remain on the sidelines.
Listen to Brian Westbrook discuss breaking the Eagles record for yards from scrimmage. (Part 2 here)
