Right now NFL Network is re-airing the Patriots' Week 1 victory over the Jets. This evening it will re-air the Patriots' victory over the Colts. Tomorrow you can re-watch the Patriots' second win over the Jets, or their win over the Steelers, or their win over the Ravens. Yes, with Patriots-Giants coming up on Saturday night, NFL Network really, really wants to get you in the mood to watch the Patriots attempt to finish their season with a perfect 16-0 record. In all, NFL Network plans 62 hours of coverage of the Patriots before Saturday night's game.
Is the hype excessive? Not really. What else is NFL Network supposed to be showing this week? Most of Sunday's games are meaningless, and the Patriots are close to doing something that no team has ever done. I'd rather re-watch a Patriots game than watch a preview of that thrilling Rams-Cardinals game on Sunday.

NFL Network can fill their programming with more things but choose to give us endless re-runs of NFL Total Access. Why aren't they using the vast library of NFL Films at their disposal? Why don't they expand their classic games series and show us more great games from the past?

The NFL is robbing tens of thousands of loyal fans of the ability to watch this game. They suck for that! Everyone should be able to see this history making game. Money Pigs!

I agree with roadseven, The NFL is doing a horrible injustice to loyal fans every where! Instead of taking care of their fan base they are putting the screws to them. It leaves a very sour taste in a lot of mouths. Too many people do not have access to watch.

the hype has been old since the 4th week of the season..ESPN had pundits saying 19-0 before the cheating was revealed..that's okay the asterisk
exists in the minds of all less-invested fans of the entire league..instead of the NE denial junkies

NE fans should all read Halberstam's "The Education of a Coach" written in 2005 before his death earlier this year...about Bill Belichick
Halberstam has certainly missed a Historic year..his book was quoted verbatim by ESPN sideline reporter diva Michelle Tafoya..but Michelle omitted the part about Belichick's obsession with gaining any advantage to the point as a Prep School student charged with doing some College Scouting lied to gain more access than the rules allowed at that time..halberstam also said how it was bred into Bill by his dad to do whatever it took to beat the opposition..according to Ravens Tackle Zeus Brown..Belichick filmed signals in violation of the snow blower rule
(authored because of the Pats cheating the Dolphins back in Shula's days..equaling the playing field to both sides having the same monolithic equipment and technology)
as a coach with the Cleveland Browns.

Yeah, even the NFL Network commercials star a Pats fan.
Here's the one that promotes Saturday's game:
