Cowboys WR Terrell Owens has left the game tonight with the Carolina Panthers with an apparant ankle injury. Owens ran a short curl, slipped, made the catch and had his ankle rolled on during the tackle. Owens winced in pain immediately but got up and limped to the sideline.
On the next play, the Cowboys scored. However, when Dallas offense took the field for the next series, Owens wasn't out there. A few plays later, Owens went into the locker room.
Needless to say, we will update this whenever we hear anything.
Also, Cowboys All-Pro CB Terrence Newman has also been hurt in this game. He walked off the field gingerly after Carolina's DeAngelo Williams stiff armed him back about 5 yards.
UPDATE: NFL Network showed Owens walking in the bowels of Bank Of America Stadium with his shoes off pointing to his left ankle. Drew Rosenhaus, his agent, flanked him.

not a problem, disgraceful officiating helped Dallas overcome the loss of Owens--how could they not call the interferences (2)

OK ROMO LETS SEE HOW FAR YOU CAN LEAD THE COWBOYS WITH OWENS ON THE SIDELINE. YOU WILL LOOK FOR T.O. NOW THAT HE TS HURT BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE SACK. I HOPE YOU CAN PULL OUT OF HIS WITHOUT T.O. I LIKE JASON WHITTEN AS A TIGHTEND BUT WITH OWENS OUT THEY WILL DOUBLE COVER HIM AND YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME MOVING THE BALL. ITHINK YOUR BEST BET IS TO USE A FULL HOUSE BACKFIELD. USE A COMBO OF RUN AND PASS OUT OF THE BACKFIELD. RUN AS MUCH TIME OFF THE CLOCK AND PUNCH IT IN. SUPERBOWL BOUND. GO COWBOYS

Talk about about a one sided game, The Refs should of just stopped the game early and handed Dallas the win.

Interference calls where sort of ify. If not for Mr.
Football Gumbjaws harping on it over and over, no
one would have given it a second thought. Both times
both players were going for the ball. Gumbjaws has
got to be the worse football voice I have ever heard.
Right up there with Cornhusker. Cant say much about
NFL Network camera work either. Are they all rookies?
Damn, just terrible. Bad calls? Just part of the game.
