The televised memorial service for Redskins safety Sean Taylor today has contained an extraordinary outpouring from those who knew and loved him.
The most moving moment came when Redskins running back Clinton Portis, who was also Taylor's teammate at the University of Miami, rose and acknowledged that he didn't know if he had the right words to say about his friend.
"You wonder how you speak about a man you admired," Portis said. "You wonder how you speak about a man who means so much to you."
Portis talked about the personal transformation Taylor had made in his time as an NFL player, saying, "Sean was at peace in his life. He was always smiling in the locker room. He came to work with the right attitude."
The crowd broke into applause when Portis summed up Taylor's career with, "There's nobody who played with more heart than Sean Taylor."

It is a shame that a player like Sean Taylor loses his life when his career was just getting better.

Vieto, you are completely right. Most of these people think that Sean was killed over drugs or because he was a "thug", but even if he did do something wrong, don't we all. This man died trying to save his family and his household. I wish that he would've had at least a shotgun because if he would've fired one shot, he would still be here today.
R.I.P. 4 EVER Sean, you wont be forgotten.
And to those of you that will say bad about Sean, think about the real facts before you judge him.
