(Video via Pro Football Talk) So what should happen to Wilfork? He says he expects to be fined:
"I'm playing football. It is what it is," Wilfork said on WEEI's Dale and Holley program yesterday. "I did hit him low, so I'm sure the NFL will have something coming, a FedEx in my locker this week. I'm moving forward and so is the team."
I'm sure he'll be fined, too, and I think it should be a substantial fine -- not the $7,500 that DeVard Darling got for a Lambeau Leap, especially considering that Wilfork makes a lot more money than Darling. How about $50,000? That was a cheap shot from Wilfork.

I assume Joe's talking about Bill W.
I agree Wilfork is not a dirty player by trade/reputation, but for throwing his elbow out I believe he deserves a fine.
The envy of the Patriots and dislike for Belichick is transparent. You can't be successful without those jealous. Same hard core group who hates the Yankees, hated the Celtics in the 50's-60's, and hated the Canadiens.
I'll continue to enjoy watching the Pats attempt to win their 4th Super Bowl rooting for their success.

bill i hope your right any team with individual talent and the ability to combine it with teamwork deserves t win,
Thats what makes this cheating crap so hard to swallow. The nfl is a glorious institution and admiration across team rivalries for individual players, coaches and others is terrific. Just no room or acceptance for cheating.
A creep is a creep is a creep. Especially when his actions effect so many.

I'm not knocking the Pats. They are a good team (a darn good team) with wonderful coaching. But when you get caught throwing a cheap shot or even if your team steals singals--admit it and move on. All good teams come to a end.

ok people think about this hit. if he was trying to tackle losman he would be reaching to wrap him up as you are taught in peewees. he was bracing himself because he was falling, hence his elbows and arms were pulled in,try falling without using your elbows you ll brake your arm. some times people dont use there hears in looking at things there emotions want to see

All of you idiots who thought it wasn't a cheap shot should have to stand next to that lump of crap (Wilfork) and let him fall intentionally into your knee, chopping at it as he falls. I like the point about what the league would do if it was Brady. To the idiots who say Patriot haters are jealous need to realize nobody likes you because you are dirty, not because we are jealous. I hope Wilfork gets a nice reception in Buffalo when the Pats go to visit later in the year. In fact, I might buy a ticket just so I can join in the profuse booing. NEW ENGLAND = least classy team in all of sports. Pats fans & players make me want to vomit. I HATE YOU.

Yeah, so far they beat up teams that are 500 and below quality!!! With the exception of the Chargers... but the Chargers aren't the same team as last year so far this year!
Though Cinci's D sucks, and the pats have a better D, Lets see who wins the shoot out! BIG upset with Cinci winning!
As for the Pats and the players/coaches.. you can take the rat out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the rat!

Ohhh, by the way. The man should have been suspended at least 1 game for the blantant low hit he threw on Losman. If Derek Dockery of the Buffalo Bills can get a $5,000 fine for not buckling his chin strap and Wilfork injures a starting QBs knee INTENTIONALLY, then there should be stronger reprocussions. This message is for you Wilfork "I WILL JUDGE YOU". That comes after he spouted out a bunch of garbage to the media and fans saying that "you don't know me, so don't judge me". You're actions speak for themselves homey. I've already came to a conclusion about you. You are a fat piece of crap low life. I hope nobody "accidentally" rolls over your knee when you come to Buffalo next time. YOU ARE A DIRTY PLAYER!!! You have been in the past and will continue to be in the future. Do you remember the concussion you gave to Jonas Jennings???? The intentional dirty late hit? I do. Screw you. I hope you and your team have a very miserable fate this season and have to feel the same pain as you have caused the Bills. Again... I hate you.

Peter King stated today Wilfork is not known around the league as a dirty player but deserved punishment for the hit.
I agree with him.

I don't understand the comments about videogate. The topic matter is regarding the hit made by Wilfork on Losman. Let's get back on track instead of the pursuing the attempt at tying "the hit" with the videogate matter. They are not related. Wilfork was tackled into Losman by a Buffalo lineman but he does thrust his elbow out into Losman's knee, the fine was justified. I am a Partiot fan and have been for many years, including the many, many very bad years. It is about time Pats have something to be excited about (winning).
