The web site that lists court schedules for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia shows that Judge Henry Hudson, who presides over the Michael Vick federal conspiracy case, has cleared his docket for Monday, August 20. The Atlanta television station WSB suggests that the judge may have cleared his schedule because he has been informed that Vick will plead guilty that day. Other hearings in cases unrelated to Vick had previously been scheduled for Monday, but now nothing shows up on Hudson's Monday schedule.
Hudson's schedule for tomorrow lists four cases, two of which are the plea agreement hearings for Vick's co-defendants, Purnell Peace and Quanis Phillips. Several media reports say that Vick has until Friday morning to either plead guilty or face additional charges.

Something is wrong here. Vick said he was innocent. he said he didn't know what was going on at his house. He asked us to keep an open mind. How could his lawyers possibly suggest that he plead guilty? You don't suppose Mike lied to us? NO WAY- he would never do that, would he? Mike- PLEASE SAY IT AIN'T SO!!

Come on, Vick only lied to protect his "good family name". He could not let his appreance of wrong doing damage his brother' name, who is a great law abiding citizen. I think it is honorable to protect such a great name.

This is America, and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Michael Vick considering a plea bargain, in essense, is proving himself guilty.
I could care less if he ever throws a football again. He should run and just keep running and stay out of the State of Georgia. I have absolutely zilch respect for anyone, even remotely, associated with the mistreatment of animals.

Just a reminder- Vick proclaimed his innocence, and said he didn't know what was going on at his house. Why would he consider a guilty plea now? Because he's a LIAR, and not a very good one.
