I know there supposedly is not any definitive proof that Mr. Bonds took steroids. For that reason we are supposed to accept his word that he did not do them. However, I've read that in his thirties his head size grew another hat size larger. And his feet another shoe size larger. If true, just exactly how does that happen without drugs? Take a look at his photo's from his earlier days (same with Mr. McGwire's) and see the difference. I would rather they do the easy thing and take a lie detector test. Baseball fans do deserve to know, don't they?

how are people so stupid and naive? He admitted to taking both the clear and the cream thinking they were flaxeed oil. Both those are steroids. Is everyone as dumb as Sheffield and believe steroids are only things you put in your butt with a needle. I am f'n tired of that lame excuse that he hasn't been convicted of anything yet. Neither has OJ but everyone knows he did it. Just wait until Bonds gets indicted for perjury.

Every keeps commenting on how his head, feet, and body has grown larger since his early days in the game,when i started college i was 195.lb running back by the time i quit playing, after a few pro camps in the N.F.L and Canada i weighed 240 lbs i have never seen a steriod in my life, the body does grow when do a little excercize, and weight training.The people that keep commenting on that can't have been an athlete, and don't know much about how the body works, when you work the body, with excersize and weight training.

Ever look at Tony Gwynn's head? He gets a free pass because he has always been sports-writer friendly. And by the way, my feet have grown a full size in the past five years because of falling arches. It's funny how people keep pointing out interesting isolated items of interest and try to sell them as evidence. If the Feds had evidence, Bonds would be indicted in a heartbeat.

Stop all this nonsense talk about Barry Bonds taking steroids>How could he have used such drugs to hit homeruns?homeruns are not like power lifting,cycling,soccer and other contaminated sports which rely heavily on such drugs especially in Backward Third World Middle Eastern Countries Which Use their so called SPORTS HEROES!!! in order to falsely magnify thier sham presens on world stage by constantly using drugs amazingly with the blessing of all major world sports organizations exactly knowing about such sham tactics.How can anyone hit a fastball,a curveball,a dropball,a slider or even a dirty spitball by using steroids?May be it is the BASEBALL BAT or the BALL itself that are being DOPED!!!.Anyway you look at it I think someone is taking us for a nice ride!!.

Barry just remember YOUR INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, and I belive your innocent. Lots of people have you guilty until proven innocent,they are so stupid and just shows there immaturity.

People need to get off the "band wagon" and wait for the prosecutor to prosecute Barry. If they had the evidence to hang him, it would have taken place by now. It has been 2yrs. since this accussation took place and nothing has been done. The idiots need to s--t or get off the pot. Instead of dropping the charges, they extended it for 6mos. more. This type of politics is called "grasping at straws". I believe a Polosi Tactic!!!!! The only person who got hung in this matter was Conti's attorney. He deserved it! Barry is a walking contradiction, but he is in my opinion human, fallible, yet wonderful to watch. It saddens me to see Barry as the fall guy for the steroid use issue of sports atheletes of today. If the media and fans force major league baseball to tarnsih his records in any way, they had damn well better do it to all of the other atheletes proven to have done the same. Got that Mark McGuire?

good luck in reaching and breaking the record. if congress wants to really check baseball do not start at barry go back and check the pitchers who throw so hard and can not pitch every four days, and if they were on the roids why were they scared to pitch to one man barry has done some good for the game but he's not the very media friendly. oh well.

you all talk about how big bonds has and feet have gotten. if you look at aarons ass at the end of his career? he looks like oprah...............he said he never did a banned substance. steroids werent banned at the time. illegal yes banned no. maybe they should administer lie detector test to all living hall of famers and ask them about speed/black beauties or greenies. see how many past the test. they were illegal perfomance enhancer but not banned back in the day. read jim boutons ball four. like bonds has said look in your own closet before you judge others..................

i guarantee you, if Barry wasn't close to breaking a record, the powers that be of baseball would not pursue this as they are. besides, if they cannot prove that Barry took steriods, then they should drop it and acknowledge his record. by the way, the record will be broken whether or not Aaron and/or Selig will be in attendance. go for it Barry!

A professor of finance at Syracuse University got it right when he said that if an asterisk is added next to Barry Bonds name and accomplishments, then one should be added to Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb for their accomplishments. They did it against inferior competition which is the ultimate "performance enhancer". The best talent was locked up in the Negro Leagues.

Wow...The writing on here is incredibly bad. Can anyone spell correctly these days? The grammar and spelling is so bad it's like I am reading a foreign language! I actually read these comments to see how bad the grammar and spelling and I end up laughing and crying sometimes because it hurts to think we have so many uneducated people walking around.
