Does anyone believe Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is telling the truth when he says, as he did in a custody proceeding, that he doesn't remember whether he sent profane text messages to the mother of his 2-year-old son?I dunno. I kinda think I'd remember if I sent my ex-girlfriend a text message calling her a "f------ fruit cake," or calling our 2-year-old son "a little p---y." Urlacher, however, can't recall.
"I'm not sure if I sent the message or not," Urlacher said in Will County court when questioned about a May 6 message. "I can't remember."
I can't think of many things worse than calling your 2-year-old son a "p---y," but one worse thing is having such a casual attitude toward calling your 2-year-old son a "p---y" that you could do it and it would slip your mind.

C'mon now, MDS. He didn't call his kid a p*ssy. He was insulting the mother's ability to raise the child. None of the vitriol in those messages was being directed at his son. It was all towards the mother.
You can't think of many things worse than an angry text message? Really? Turn on your local evening news some night and the first three stories will be "something worse."

That kid hasn't got a damn thing to worry about the rest of his life--except maybe living with is increasingly incompetent mother. Brian is doing the right thing, morally AND legally.

Although brain didn't want anymore children, it was the risk it took when stepped out on his ex-wife and their kids. If anything, he could've gave ex-wife a STD.
