Wide receiver Mike Williams said he wanted a do-over. And a do-over is what he needs: He went from the 10th pick in the draft to a guy who was only worth half of a fourth-round pick when the Lions traded him to the Raiders. Raiders coach Lane Kiffin was supposed to be the right person to give Williams that do-over because Kiffin coached Williams at USC, and the two of them had a good rapport. Well, now Williams has participated in a mini-camp in Oakland, and here's what Kiffin had to say:
"However you want to phrase it, he's blown a chance," Kiffin said. "I think that he would tell you the same thing. This is a situation that favors the Raiders because this is Mike's chance. I think he's going to come out fighting, but we'll see."
Williams blew a chance by pulling a hamstring, which you might think isn't his fault. But while I'm not a doctor and haven't examined Williams, I have to say, from the bit of information that has come out, it sounds like the kind of injury you get when you start running for the first time in a long time. And if Williams hasn't run in a long time, he's pretty much the same guy in Oakland he was in Detroit: An out of shape player who will never come close to living up to his potential.
UPDATE: To clarify, as noted in comments, Kiffin made his statement before the minicamp. Kiffin was referring to blowing a chance in Detroit. I believe Williams has blown another chance by not being ready to go in Oakland.

Kiffin was referring to Williams' time in Detroit, not his hammy you idiot.

Yeah, you knucklehead, Kiffin made this statement BEFORE the minicamp, not after Williams was injured. Surely you were aware of this. Fix it.

Yeah, you're right. Let's cut him after one day in minicamp. After all he had his chance and blew it, right? Jeez you're an idiot.

Go back to the dungeon and don't return until you write something somewhat decent, you half wit. You remind me of a dirty ankled monkey throwing darts at a board. Mr. Clumsy Skin. I hope you get a bad rash.

"I believe Williams has blown another chance by not being ready to go in Oakland." Why don't you mention that Kiffin termed Williams pre-injury performance as dominant? Do you think you have any reporting responsibilities, or are you spouting off half-assed opinions just for the sake of it? Maybe you should quit your day job.
