Jon Kitna Says Detroit Lions Will Win at Least 10 Games

Well, this is amusing. Detroit Lions quarterback Jon Kitna was asked what he thinks the team's record will be in 2007.
"In wins and losses?" Kitna said. "I really think we should not win any less than 10 games this year, to be honest.

"Last year, the won-lost record -- I didn't really necessarily look at that as much as I look at where did we start at and where did we get to."

Uh, Jon? You started at 0-0 and you got to 3-13. That's not good. And I love the fact that when he was asked how the team would do, before answering he first clarified "in wins and losses?"

Matt Millen has been running this franchise for six years, and they've never won more than six games in any one of those years. I understand that Kitna is the quarterback and has to be confident going into the season, but the Lions are about as likely to win 10 games as Terrell Owens is to get an invitation to Jeff Garcia's wedding.
