Bills Finally Sign a Running Back, Too Bad It's Anthony Thomas

The Bills have finally inked a running back. Unfortunately, it wasn't Chris Brown, Corey Dillon or any of the other remaining potential starters. Instead it was Anthony Thomas, who had recently become an unrestricted free agent.

"It feels good," said Thomas. "I feel I know the system a lot better now the second time around."

By no means am I saying Thomas is a horrible player. He's actually a very solid and capable back-up, just not a starter like the Bills need right now. He had two very productive years in Chicago but has counteracted them with four poor seasons.
