The Raiders have gone from a team that signs mediocre Super Bowl MVPs to a team that signs mediocre players who should have been Super Bowl MVP. The Raiders inked Dominic Rhodes to a contract on Friday, as the LaMont Jordan experiment surely didn't illustrate that back-up running backs don't always make the best franchise runners. But hey, with two back-ups they almost equal one full-time running back. Actually, Jordan is a pretty good runner and most NFL teams are going with the tandem at running back. Even the Chargers, with LT, went out and wrapped up its back-up running back Michael Turner. So this might not be a horrible deal after all.
Well, if the team goes out and gets some offensive linemen, that is.
