Peter King begins his Monday Morning Quarterback column with the following statement:Calvin Johnson is atop everyone's draft board. Two team executives told me that not only is the Georgia Tech wide receiver the No. 1 player on their boards, but also he might be 32 for 32. The amazing thing is, there's a good chance he'll last until the fourth overall pick.I don't believe that both of those things can possibly be true. If Johnson, the Georgia Tech wide receiver, really is on top of all 32 teams' draft boards, there's just no way he'll last until the fourth overall pick. For a player to be that good, good enough that there's no debate that he's the best player in the draft, someone will trade up and take him even if the three teams at the top of the draft -- Oakland, Detroit, Cleveland -- don't want to select a wide receiver.
And that's my guess about what will happen. After Johnson's combine workout, he is so coveted by NFL teams that I think we're going to see a blockbuster trade from a team that's lower in the draft and desperately wants him. Which team? Just hazarding a guess here, how about the Falcons? Yes, they've already devoted a lot of resources into getting wide receivers, but to Johnson might be exactly what both Bobby Petrino and Michael Vick need. It would take a lot to trade up, but Johnson is worth it.

Cleveland is in perfect position to trade down. They don't really need a WR, and it is generally accepted that Tampa Bay will take CJ if he falls to 4. So any team who is genuinely interested in CJ will at least entertain trade talks with Cleveland. I expect Cleveland to trade down 3-5 spots come draft day.

I also think GM Mckay needs to pull the trigger and do what ever needs to be done to get Calvin. He would fit perfect in Coach Petrino's offensive. It will be a hurting feeling to see him go to someone like the Bucs. And to watch him torch us twice a year. Maybe all the Falcon fans need to start buying space in the AJC lobbying for CJ!!

Calvin will take double coverage everytime in the NFl and all who's asking "Is he really THAT good?" Yes is the answer.
He could be one of the greatest receivers to ever see the game and is much better than prospects like Larry Fitzgerald out of Arizona who when he entered was considered a huge prospect on the WR position
Calvin is by far the best to see that position for years.
If it takes a trade to get it? Go do it bruce allen.
