Do Not Ask Jonathan Babineaux to Watch Your Dog

I think every major city NEEDS AN AMIMAL POLICE SERVICE. Too many animals are abused fiscally and by just being thrown out. Throw the book at this inhuman torturing person. Wifey, if he will hurt a little defenceless dog, what do you think your chances are?

seriously, though, it's a real shame and a little frightening. we just got done in atlanta with the case of the 2 boys nuking a puppy in the microwave. such little regard for life.

Animal and child abuse just make me sick at my stomach. Both are defenseless against this type of abuse by the stronger among us. I for one get more and more upset with each reported episode. Recently the 2 criminals that tortured the puppy in the microwave received a 10 year sentence. I for one will be watching--they need to serve all 10 years. If there is animal abuse confirmed in this latest incident Babineaux should get the cell right beside the 2 puppy killers.

now i'm completely against animal creulty but when child molesters get probation and animal killers get 10 years something greatly wrong with the system.again i'm not saying they shouldnt be punished because they are sick but if you think as much of a dog or cats life as you do a human being raped and beaten i'm a little sorry for you.one young kids life being taken is far more important than all the dogs in atlanta.

The falcons should cut him. This is crazy. I will boycott anything falcon until he is gone. I will not watch their games, I will not buy anything having to do with them. I think it is unethical to have someone like that on a pro team that is support by fans. If I had an employee that did something like this I would fire him.

Another media blitz.. no trial..no evidence.. no conviction..except for many of the above. Too, what do we do with all those that kill foxes, coyotes, buffalo, deer, cows, etc. The dog is defenseless.. for the most part.. but, the sentences are too extreme for the crime. Ten years for nuking a dog.. shameful..but, not ten years.

Those people who physically abuse such a defenseless little animals should be dealt with the same way or worse. The dude who put the poor dog in the microwave oven should be put down the same frickin' way......set him on fire, kills it, and set him on fire again.

Perhaps we should wait for all the facts to surface before we crucify Babineaux. For one thing, the story is incorrect when it says the dog belonged to his wife. Babineaux is not married. The dog belonged to his girlfriend. So right out of the box we can't necessarily trust the information in the story. Secondly, it's possible this was a case of self defense. The dog he allegedly killed was a pit bull mix. That's a pretty aggressive breed which I believe has played a role in mauling more than a few people to death. It's not like Babineaux snapped a Yorkie's neck. So maybe comments like "scumbag", "fat ass", and "roided-up bastard" are a little premature.
