The most amazing thing about the halftime show was the dancers in three inch heels on a wet stage. I don't like Prince much, myself.
Prince's performance was great!!! He looked good and perservered through adverse conditions!! As true a professional as all the players and fans that sat through the downpour!!
I could have done without. If you're a Prince fan I suppose it was pretty good. He's not bad live, but I really do miss those days when we could have a wide array of artists. Boy did Janet & Justin screw that one up.
I'm nuetral on his performance.
Thank God that Prince was the halftime entertainment. He gave everyone in our Super Bowl party a chance to go to the bathroom and eat supper. No one watched him, and that didn't surprise me one bit. Everyone at our party likes music, not NOISE!
I have to say its the best half time show ever!!!! Anyone that is in the entertainment business should bow down to the Prince because he is the KING of talent......and he sure is damn good looking still and has that sparkle in his eye!!!! He has it and always had it.....We all love you Prince!!!
I disliked the whole show. Thought it was strange
and his songs seemed off tilt. The headband he was wearing made him look like a woman. The guitar playing was the only highlight for me. His song choice was terrible...Sorry Prince Paul McCartney

He was decent but the funniest moment came when he was playing his own guitar behind that sheet. It was kind of phallic in a way and my sons laughed a lot at that as boys will.
Prince was good. Good performance with minimal theatrics. Game was good because the weather equalized the teams
I thought Prince was excellent last night! He didn't over do it and he was way better than Billy Joel singing the national anthem!! Maybe Prince should of have performed at the begining of the show as well. If your going to select someone to sing our national anthem please....select someone who can sing the notes right!!! Billy Joel sent me in to a coma, if it wasn't for the Chicago Bears making the kick off return touchdown I would of have stayed in a coma for the remainder of the night and would have missed Super Bowl XLI and Prince's half time performance.
I think the halftime show sucked.
Who booked this anyway? Prince has been washed up for at least twenty years.(Remember when he used that ridiculous "symbol")That was back,too,in Miami.He should be paired up with Little Richard-they look like "father and son",for next year's Super Bowl
prince is gay. justin and janet messed up the whole super bowl experience for now. altho at leats it wasnt some uneducated rap group that cant sing and all they do is mumble about blunts and 40's. what happened to good music. options for next year ( the van hallen reuion , john fogerty , nickelback , jason aldean ).

Not a big Prince fan BUT he won my admiration for performing under some damned adverse conditions. A bunch of performers would have cancelled or cut their show short. He wins my vote for MVP of the Super Bowl.
I thought that the halftime show was the worst one ever. When are they going to get someone that everybody can enjoy. I would love to see some country music stars for once.

I am hysterically laughing at DEEGENERATE's comment regarding Prince being "washed uped". Perhaps they have been living on planet Pluto for the last decade. This year alone Prince has been nominated for multiple Grammys - won the Golden Globe award for his tune Happy Feet for best song of the year in a movie and has 3 albums still on Billboard 100 in 2006/7. Please do your homework DEEGENERATE prior to babbling out ridiculous comments.
Oh i forgot to add that amoung others the New York Times praised his performance last night as perhaps the BEST Super Bowl performance EVER... so much for washed uped!!!
I thought the half-time show was fantastic. I have always loved Prince and after last night even more. His guitar playing is phenomenal. Plus with the weather the way it was he did great. A true artist. As for the game one word...........EXCITING. I truly think this time the game surpassed the commercials. What a terrific ending to the season. And to have my team win priceless. COLTS SUPER BOWL WINNERS!!!
I loved the half-time show! It looked like the marching band was having a blast as well as the rest of the crowd. Prince did an awesome job and I loved the songs he chose. It wasn't overdone or underdone. I can do without Kid Rock and Brittany Spears during half-time.
