Well this isn't good. One of Andy Reid's sons ran a red light and rammed his vehicle into a woman's car, seriously injuring her. Then Reid's other son heard about the accident and started driving to it, only to get into some kind of road rage incident on the way.
Police say a black jeep liberty being driven by Reid's 23-year-old son, Garrett, apparently ran a red light and struck a red Taurus.
The impact demolished the car sending papers all over the roadway and trapping the woman driver.
She was taken to the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in serious condition.
Garrett Reid was not injured and is said to be cooperating with police.
He apparently called his 21-year-old brother, Britt, to say he was in an accident.
Investigators say Britt was apparently on his way to accident scene when he got into some sort of incident along Matson Ford Road.
Reid has five children, and Garrett and Britt are the two oldest. I wouldn't want to be a driver's ed teacher with the rest of the kids on the way.

WHOA ! Much too early for judgements. Lets get some facts before we accuse Andy's kids of anything!
Sooooooooo Funny. Hahah.
OK...facts are coming in...drug paraphenalia for Garrett. Britt brandishing a gun. One of them already subject to a lawsuit involving a 2002 traffic injury. Of all the football coaches in all the world who quit and said "I need to spend more time with my family". Here is one who definitely does while the 3 younger ones still have a shot.
It will be very intersting to see how Andy handles this one. Will the kid have a brand new SUV by the weekend? Or will Andy bounce him on his ass and tell him to grow up and get a job. Apparently Andy is a much more effective coach than father.
Some can coach and be fathers, others can not. Those kid's should be embarrassed for the shame and humiliation the have brought to not only their parents and siblings, but everyone in the Philadelphia area. The Eagles cause us enough grief, do we really need these little spoiled brats making things worse? Andy, kick'em out of the royal nest!
Why are the headline saying Andy Reid's kids. Okay he is the father. But you could only do so much about your children's actions. Andy is not at fault that his son ran a red light or that the other one was so upset and tried to reach his brother. Both of this kids are ADULTS and they should be treated like it. They should have to take responsibility for there actions, just like anyone else. His dad was a coach big deal. They are not the famous ones. Don't judge unless you have all the facts first.
Andy should be fired!!! Some role model for his young players.
Van, pull your heaqd out of your butt!! You know darn well Andy being famous will help not hurt his kids.
...blame it on the assistant coach!
I'm sure the coach had no idea about the drugs and guns --- particularly as the "kids" lived with him.
I was Andy Reid's neighbor when he was a coach with the Packers. We weren't close friends, but I did know Andy well enough to say hello. I knew Tammy better as she was home with the kids and around the neighborhood. My son, although older than the Reid boys, knew them as well. I didn't know the boys well enough to comment one way or the other. However, I will say that those who question Andy and Tammy as parents obviously don't know them. Until the facts are known, I'll refrain from passing judgement. Regardless of the outcome, I would never question Andy's or Tammy's parenting skills.
I played with Andy Reid's son who is in 8th grade and he is one of the nicest kids i have ever met in my entire life. Leave the Reid's alone and stop being such ********
It's really sad to see people rushing to judge the Reid family. Every family in the world has issues, just not everyone is famous for it to be put out there. 99% of you know nothing about this family at all. I can say I personally know them, and know that both Andy and Tammy are both wonderful parents. Why don't you all worry about your own children
I'M SURE ITS ALL A SHOCK FOR NOT PAYING CLOSER ATTENTION AS PARENTS WHEN THERE WAS APPARENT SIGNS. OTHER ACCIDENTS AND DRUG PROBLEMS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED MORE STERNLY. LETS GIVE ANDY/WIFE A CHANCE TO STRAIGHTEN THIS MESS OUT. THEIR GOOD PEOPLE END OF STORY!!!!

Number 1, for all the a-holes to say this is funny it's not. Number 2, I know the Reids personally and played football with both Garrett and Britt and that is one of the nicest families. Andy is a great father with an awesome sense of humor, so for all of you who want to judge like you know the man and his family issues, you guys don't know $hit. I know them very well and their issues and how he deals with them. That's all. And I hope all turns out well for Britt and Garrett
Perhaps Mr. Reid should spend more time with his kids and less with that cult he calls his religion. Coaching/job is not his problem.
I went to Harriton High School with both boys and from as far as I remember they were both trouble from the first day they entered the Lower Merion School District. Their drug ussage isn't anything new, they were dealing pot in the upper parking lot of the school and their usage was assumed. They are cetainly not innocent.
I went to Harriton High School with both the Britt and Garrett Reid. From the day they entered the Lower Merion School District they were trouble. From as far as I can remember the younger one was dealing in the upper parking lot of the school. Breaking school codes by using chewing tobacco in the back of the classroom DURING class. I don’t think they are innocent at all. It’s about time someone in the Main Line gets taught a lesson. I just hope they don’t get away with this because their father is the coach of the Eagles.
I went to Harriton High School with both Garrett and Britt Reid (was in my class). From the moment these two entered the Lower Merion School District they were trouble. They were always breaking rules and dealing in what used to be the upper parking lot. I particularly knew Britt; he would sit in the back of class and chew and spit chewing tobacco during class (which mind you is illegal on school grounds regardless of age).
They aren’t innocent and they should be given the same punishment as any other law breaking citizen. This morning it was announced they were found in possession of heroin and armed guns. Why do you need guns first off in the Main Line? Second off heroin?!?!
They are also both grown men -- not children. So as far as the parents go we cant judge them at this point because they cannot control a 21 and 23 yaer old man.
