The Pro Football Writers Association has filed a complaint with the NFL, saying the Colts' decision to arrive in Miami on Monday night means writers won't have enough time to interview players and coaches and get their stories for the Tuesday papers filed on time. The group's president, David Elfin of the Washington Times, said, "There's no excuse to arrive so late with two weeks between games and that they're basically blowing off a day of media coverage at the Super Bowl for anyone east of the Mississippi or perhaps east of the Rockies.''
Here's my suggestion to all the writers who won't get to interview Peyton Manning until Tuesday: Find something else to write about. The Super Bowl hype gets utterly ridiculous because all the writers ask all the athletes all the same questions. You should be glad you'll have one less day to contribute to that.

Ah, writers get one less day of South Beach. Real football fans have many media outlets for information, and Manning doesn't say much anyway. Here's a story. What offense goes best with stone crabs the spread, run and shot, west coast, smashmouth? or, Does a thong bikini have a place in the Tampa 2 defense? Get over it writers your not the game the Colts are trying to win a Super Bowl not a popularity contest. Besides what are you going to do not vote for Peyton Manning or Marvin Harrison for the hall of fame?

Stop whinning and do what real fans do who care about the game. Relax, sit on the sofa, drink a cold beer and watch NFL Network.

For all of you Peyton Manning lovers, you need to review this arrogant, chauvenisitic prick's history at the U of Tenn. He was invloved in beating on some coed that was quickly covered up by football coach Phillip Fullmer and the Tennessee Athletic Department, because of his "star" status. The guy should have been kicked off the football team right then and there. So, keep this in mind while you are on your "honeymoon" with this guy.

Peyton Manning is the best QB that there is in the NFL and the Colts are the best team that there is offensively and defensively--when the defense steps up like they have been recently. I believe that it is "The Colts" time to shine! Peyton, I sure am glad that you are sporting my number! Best wishes to you and the rest of the team. I will be cheering and praying for you on Sunday!
