I meant to write something right after the game, but I was speechless.
I challenge all Colts fans to find a greater game in Colts history, because I can't. The most exciting game I had ever seen was when we came from behind a few years ago to beat the Bucs in dramatic fashion.
There isn't anything better than what just happened. Down by 15 at halftime and Peyton gets his boys rolling to score 32 points in the second half. Tom Brady has a drive going with a minute left and Marlin Jackson picks it off. Ha ha! Are you serious? I really can't believe the ending to that game. Can anyone write a better ending to the game that gets us to the Super Bowl? I'm still in shock.
The reason the Colts won was because Peyton outplayed Brady and came up more "clutch" than Mr. Pretty Boy (Gosh, it feels nice to have the right to call Tom Brady a Pretty Boy.)
Forget about the Bears, Colts fans. Who cares right now? I sure don't, because I'm still soaking in this win. Enjoy the win, and worry about the Bears later! The Colts have won three in a row against the Pats now, and this is becoming the best rivalry in the NFL by far.
We do know one thing for sure, Tom Brady is the biggest choker in NFL History! :-)

Tom Brady is not the greatest choker in history. Everybody has days of wine and roses and then days of rotten eggs and burnt toast. Check out the swimming pools in Boston and New Orleans if you see Sean Payton and Bill Belicheck practice their diving from the platform.

im a chicago bears fan first of all let me say that. i watched the indianapolis/patriots game just because i knew it would be good. but let me say, as an impartial observer, it was a joke. i mean, a complete laughable joke. the refs handed this game to indy on a silver platter. for example... interference on ellis hobbs giving indy the ball on the 1 (what the hell was that?) no interference called on indy when they basically tacked caldwell in the endzone which would give the patriots the ball on the 1 and be a touchdown. the no interference call on the subsequent drive when the pats forded manning 3 and out and were making their own drive. then they tackle a receiver before the ball gets there. this would have given them the first down and put them in field goal range. plus it would have killed more clock which was already down to 2 min and change. terrible no call. and the topping... roughing the passer. i was sickened by the gane but that did it. there's no way that this game wasn't thrown by the refs. it was so obvious, i dont' know if i even want to watch football anymore. i sure as hell hope the bears don't have to face that kind of thing... ugh, it seems like the league wants the colts to win so they did. it really was a joke and i think this is my last season watching football after many many years of loving it. it's just too jaded. as much as i dont' care for the pats, they won that game and to take that away from them makes me sick. i don't want to watch an nfl that resembles the wwf in how fake it is.

Mike hit the nail on the head. The game was won by N.E, not the Colts. they refs made some bad calls. I don't know who put up the $$$, but if that is how Manning wants to get the ring, then he surely doesn't have a clue of the the TRUE MEANING OF " WINNING IT", & as for all the hype about how good he is & how they win due to his talent, well if it wasn't for the talent of Vinatieri& the f/g's they would not have got this game , or the 1 against Baltimore( that 1 was all f/g's) Manning seems to be a big baby. when a play doean't go his way, he goes to the side & pouts, or raises hell with the ump, hopeing they will change a call
this is 1 supper bowl I am not watching
if we are unlucky enough to have the colts have another $$$ talks win...oh my god Mannings head will be so big the will have to take the top off when he plays @ home
So for that reason I say GO BEARS

Brady is definitely not the biggest choker in playoff history if you look at his record but this was not his year. They Pats should have lost last week but SD threw that gqame away. Brady in both games threw an interception at the end that should have sealed it for both teams but SD fumbled the ball right back and gave the Pats better field position if he had never intercepted it. As for the Coference Championship the Pats flat out just got out played in the second half. It was not the refs who picked off Brady or who drove the ball down New England's throat but Manning and the Colts who did it 4 times in the second half.

George and mike....I would be worried if i were you the bears offense isn't as good as kanas city or baltimore and can't even touch what tom brady did last night. The bears i think are very predictable on offense and we will stop the run and force wrecks grossmen to beat the colts. which he can't. maybe you have a chance if hester puts up 4 TDs. I wouldn't put chicagos defense in the same category with new england or baltimore. Bottom line the bears are playing against AAA teams. The bears schedule is very weak, really no games that i thought were a game of the week except the new england gam. The colts are just to deep on offense. Good luck colts go pats next year

An "impartial observer"?? LOL It seems to me that you gave a play by play "jaded" view. Did we watch the same game? I'll admit, it made me sick too......almost literally......but wanting the Colts to win so badly- - FINALLY; and THEY DID.....FAIR & SQUARE!! There were JUST AS MANY "bad calls" the other way around; so I say if you're thinking you don't want to watch NFL anymore, you'd be a good person NOT to watch since you're so "impartial"!!
As for the person agreeing:......."True Meaning Of Winning The Game"?? Hey........HE WON!!! As for going to the side & "pouting"(how childish of "YOU"). Check it out again!!- -he's going to the side and STUDYING plays!!
Come on folks........FACE IT - - there is NO HYPE about Manning, HE'S JUST PLAIN OUT OLE GOOD!!; and I might add, AT LEAST a "Gentleman"!! Did you see the NE coach when Manning TRIED to shake his hand & say "Good Game"? He was shrugged off.
AND BY THE WAY.........WHERE WAS PRETTY BOY?? Maybe I missed it, but all I saw from the camera "I" was looking through was someone "POUTING" and leaving the field - - SOMETHING YOU'D "NEVER" SEE ONE OF THE MANNING BOYS DO!!!!!!!
I'd venture to say BOTH Mannings have been taught more about "true meaning of winning", values, ethics, sportsman like conduct and a million other GOOD QUALITIES than most ANY other quarterbacks out there!!
SO............TURN YOUR TV OFF or at least take of your rose colored glasses!!!!!!!

The 'Game' is always about timing, breaks, and the unpredictable.
Let's all stop the whining, and wish these two teams well.
The refs on both games did a pretty good job. Ok, the roughing the passer call was a little weak, however, it only sped up the inevitable outcome. The colts were charging, and the Pats were on their heels. I do believe the Diego game took a lot out of the Pats. They seemed to be missing their usual energy on both sides with the exception of special teams. Give the Colts and Bears credit. They endured, they played well, and they were victorious through their own great efforts.

Both teams that won the conference championship deserve to be in the SuperBowl, lucky breaks ,bad calls, whatever. It is extremely hard to get there ,so if you do make it there earned it .Both coaches also deserve to be in the SuperBowl because they had a great game plan and are well respected around the league. The only thing that is annoying about it is (and I think both coaches will agree on this)Is the media is so hyped about both coaches being black, that everyone who interviews them ,that is the first thing out of their mouths.Come on show some class and don't ask the men: How does it feel to be the first black coaches in the SuperBowl?I'm sure it feels great ,but you can tell they are already sick of it themselves. Why try an ruin it for them.I am happy Tony Dungy is finally going, be he black ,red ,white ,or purple.

Great game to watch... I have some former Gators on the Pats team but I'm honestly tired of seeing Brady beat Manning, even though he's a former Vol... so I rooted for the Colts in this one. Way to go, boys... that was a hell of a comeback. Now we get some new (old?) blood in the Superbowl. Da Bears and the Colts! That will be a fun one.

I think the Coach for the Patriots showed how "no class" He is after the game. He is a back-stabbing moron, and I'm glad the Pats lost.

Wow, what a great game. Enough with the complaining of bad calls. After each game (no matter who is playing) people complain about bad officiating. There will always be bad calls, whether they are for or against your team. To say that all of the calls were for the Colts is silly, I seem to remember a very iffy call when Jabbar Gaffney caught the touchdown (was he out? who cares). The pass interference was legit, Ellis Hobbs never even turned to look for the ball but instead was concentrating on the player. In the end does it really matter, As long as it is a fun game to watch and gets my blood flowing I am happy. Everytime I hear people complain about penalties it makes me think of a quote from "The Big Lebowski":
"Sometimes you get the bull by the horns, and sometimes the bull gets you". (someone is gonna call me out on the exactness of my quote)
I am sure the Patriots have had plenty of BIG games where many sketchy calls have gone their way

Mike and Donna sound like a couple of crying babies, they should get together to wipe each other's eyes!! The Colts won just like always, they DESERVED IT!! Any team that can come-from-behind like they did and win the AFC Championship deserve to do just what they are doing, going to the Superbowl!!! I have been waiting 23 years for this and it feels so good!!!
What's not to like about a QB who is never in trouble with the law or anyone else, is a positive role model in a time when pro football players are usually anything but, and never says anything bad about anyone, always showing the meaning of good sportsmanship!! What's wrong with everyone? They are hung up on outlaws?!
Payton and the boys finally got where they deserve to be and I for one am too happy for words!!!!

To the Colts and their fans, enjoy the ride. You guys have been through some bad times like we Steeler fans were. Those close losses in the championship are hard to swallow. The only thing that matters now is that trophy, the conference championship is great but not good enough.(just ask a Bengals fan).Don't listen to all that "your team is just lucky, the refs gave you all the breaks" crap.It don't mean squat.Glad to see Brady and Bellicheck are staying home!

Donna I couldn't agree with you more the only thing Manning has going for him is receivers that can catch and run I'm surprised his head didn't explode last night. There was horrible calls and I will not be watching the super bowl. I was once told that the NFL was set up and last night confirmed it for me.
