As the final two are left standing, the Colts and Bears, believe it or not, there still are 30 other teams left in the NFL. And as these two teams rest up and prepare during the upcoming two weeks, believe it or not, there still are 30 teams left waiting for the new season to begin. And the Rams still happen to be one of those teams. As Colts and Bears fans get ready for the big show, there are far more fans out there not nearly as excited as they (the winning teams fans) would like for us to be, while their two teams get ready for that big show. And that includes Rams fans who will half heartily watch the commercial rich, fireworks filled Super Bowl just because it's football.
Just because 30 other teams fans may be watching the event, doesn't mean that they're supporting either team and some may not even care what the outcome is unless they've got a few bucks on the game. In fact some of us go through the motions and look more forward to the commercials come Super Bowl Sunday, than the game itself.
Believe it or not, we will continue to support our team, write about our team, and look forward to the upcoming season all the while during the Super Bowl hype, and deluge of cocky fans supporting the Bears and Colts. Although congrats are in order for both teams and their fans, that won't stop any of us from continuing to support our teams.
And with that said....Go Rams!

What a waste of space your comments are. Of course NFL fans are going to support their teams, but only 2 teams can go to the SuperBowl. The Bears & the Colts have earned that right this year. Sounds like more sour grapes & whining to me. Someone has to win, which means someone has to lose.....its called a game.

What is your problem? You got your congrats, no one's whining just telling it like it is.
I'm waiting for next season to come and if that's a crime so be it. Enjoy your SB, and if the Bears are the losers just remember what you said, someone's got to lose.

Patti,
Your a spirit draining individual, who mananges to
depress readers with a half hearted attempt at writing while sober.
Your in denial after a loosing season, in which you realize is only going to get worse next year as expansion teams will drive you to the bottom of a very cut throat division. I can feel a sence of pain and fustration in your devotion to the rams. Your article, and fellow colomnist watchdog are in need of a vacation.
You are not inspiring the football fan community with half hearted writing ability. We as fans love and enjoy watching "ALL FOOTBALL GAMES".
Sunday night flex games, and monday night football are all about watching football for the love of the game. There is no tenision involved on monday, after you have watched your own division game that previous sunday. Sit back, relax, and enjoy watching football. Watch football for the break away runs, The hard hitting action, beautifuly thrown spirals, and deep reciever routes. Watch football for the interceptions, take aways, and the coaches who seem to call the perfect play at the rite time. That's what football is all about.
Call it what you want. Call it the SuperBowl, or in your case, Call it monday night football. Don't give us crap about watching it for comercials. Any football fan will tell you that commercials suck.
Respect the NFL, and the other 31 teams in the league. Go take a vacation from writing. Baseball season is rite around the bend for you sorry ass complaining loosers who managed to show the nation the most borring world series in the history of the game.
People like yourself do not deserve to have an NFL team in your city. You don't understand what football is all about.

nobody gives a flying f*** about the rams... remember the monday night game in st. louis that looked like a bears home exhibition with all the chicago fans? yeah i know its painful to remember how badly the bears steamrolled the greatest hoax on turf, the rams, that night, but thats part of the reason everybody is talking about the bears colts superbowl matchup, and not your football team. or oaklands team. or atlanta's team.
i appreciate your loyalty to your team, i can identify with going for a team after a loss-filled season, but this is our time, so quit posting about your failure this year and let us have all the space. you may come back if there is legitimate news or a draft, but for the next month do everybody who goes for a team still alive in the playoffs a favor....
put down the keyboard.

Patti and watchdog,
I think St. Louis fans, and AOL fanhouse fans in general deserve better from the both of you.
I also think St. Louis Rams fans should petition AOL for a new or additional "professional" sports columnist. The two of you do not compliment each other and often eco the same abrisive spirit draining mentality. Perhaps New blood at the rams fan house would encourage you to step up to the plate and write some decent opinion.
The stuff you guy's are writing wouldn't make it into a high scool news paper. Seriously, you need to check yourselves. We understand your loyalty to the rams, but save your cries for attention for the following season. Maligning the superbowl and the two teams playing in it is just bad for all fans of football regardless!!!!!!You are setting yourself up for serious ridicule and embarrassment.
The whole football community does not respond to these things as jokes, nor does it view St. Louis as a small niche market. I wouldnt be supprised if you
get 500 hits nation wide, all buy people upset after reading this swill.

When AOL tells the Rams FanHouse and the other 29 losing teams to stop writing is when we will stop writing. The world goes on whether or not your teams are in the SB. That's simply part of life. So accept it.
