Why Did Belichick March His Team Out During Chargers Introductions?

You know, I've always respected this coach, but he does not seem like he posesses a lot of good people skills......basically, he can coach my team any time, but I would never invite him over for dinner.

Count the rings on his fingers, we are all fortunate to be able to see a hall a fame Coach in action. I think the bigger question that everyone needs to take a look at is Payton Manning. Word on the news here in New England is that Payton Manning is pleading with the Colts fans not to sell any tickets to Patriot fans because all he wants to see is blue in the stands on Sunday. I will give you one better, all he is going to see is blue laying on his back as he is sacked. The reason Payton Manning is in all the commercials and wont give his team credit is because he has NO class and his ego is getting in the way. He may be a hall of fame QB in the record books but until he figures how to be a class act like Tom Brady, Joe Montana, John Elway he will never be a true hall of QB.

I was at the game and noticed this BS and chalked it up to bush league Belichick antics. The Patriots have no class and LT was right in saying that it could very well come from the coach.

i thought this was football next time the patriots go to san diego they will have to stop in pittsburgh and pick up some of those terrible towels so the diego fans will something to dry their eyes with.Quit the cryin this is football the guy tryin to win 4 super bowl in 6 years isnt nice no kiddin

As much as Belichick gave a poor handshake to the Jets coach,the dude worked under Belicheick and knew most of his plays and Im sure that was the reason for the victory. As far as the chargers go, sure the Patriots didn't show the best class, but these comments are coming from a Charger who stormed off the field the minute the game was over. And Charger fans don't even recognize what the Patriots have to go through, especially in the Chargers game. They went up against and beat the #1 seed, 6 to 1 favored team in an away game, and did I mention they won. That's beside the point the announcers never say anything good about the Pats but they always build up the other team when even when they are doing horrible. It's the announcers that make me angry, other team gets a 5 yd. gain it was a great drive. Pats get a 5 yd. gain and theyre ridiculed.

I guess New England must of won otherwise no one would of cared what happened. As my old coach use to say, "the day a sportmanship banner flies around here is the day after we have a losing season, I never want to see that." 10 years later I revisited the campus and yes the sportmanship banner was flying, they had lost every game. Coaches who lose get fired. Sorry I don't like it either but thats what sports has become.

LT got upset at the Patriots for mimicking Merrimans dance ?? I don't get it Merriman is the guy that shows up the opponent with the dance . On top of that he is a steroid user ! When a guy does a dance and is a steroid user he better carry his team to victory . He was invisable in the game and the pats rubbed it in . LT should look at his pwn locker room and talk about no class !!

So, let me see, Bill Belichick quietly brings his team out on the field during the Chargers’ introductions and this is perceived as an insult to the Chargers by SD fans? Did you ever consider the possibility that Bill and the rest of the Patriots team might have wanted to see the ‘bigger than life’ Chargers team in all of its glory before the biggest game of the playoffs? Maybe Bill wanted to get out on the field early to scout the Chargers for future prospects. After all, SD has been a big benefactor for the Patriots over the years.

In any case, can you folks get off the ‘disrespect’ bandwagon? Maybe next year you can earn some respect….

All of you must remember that the San Diego Charger organization started all of this disturbance by denying east coast fans and especially New England fans the privilige of at least attending this game. Shame chargers. Well done Bill!!

This is a joke, face it LT basically said that he was mad because the patriots copied Merriman's dance. Whoooooo cares??? How many times have u seen players mock such dances as the dirty bird. Just last month the vikings player tried to do the Lambeau leap. I don't recall Favre crying about that.. LT is a winer and Bellichick is the best coach of our era.

The Patriots go in to the Chargers stadium, a franchise that did not sell tickets to anyone outside the southern California area, with Merriman completely dismissing the Pats in his halftime interview, and basically looking past them on their road to the Super Bowl and guess what happened? Their plan to get there didn't go as planned and they have become sore losers. When you go around and point fingers about disrespect, you better make sure that your team is squeaky clean. It makes it hypocritical when your own team does some taunting of its own.

Bill B.is a great coach and family man any one of you out there would love to have him as your head coach lets not fool ourselves,if you could pick your choice between Bill and Marty I even think San Diego would pick Bill,I am a full fledged Pats fan even when they were 1-15 back in the early 80's and this guy is the best the Pats ever had in a coach,so when he grabbed the camera and swayed it out of his way shore I was like "did you see that" but hay what do you want these camera men are rediculous sometimes and I believe at that moment he deserved to be pushed aside and as far as the Pats coming out while the Chargers were coming out well thats some what of a stradegy that Bill puts into his game plan"don't let the othere team try to intimidate you attitude"and he felt he had to do this in order to get there attention and he did,kudos to Bill for the nuggets to do it,and as far as who was right and wrong in this game, the out come is the answer,the Pats won the game on a couple of bad calls that the Chargers coaching staff made yes and also on some great plays the Pats made at crucial points, any real football fan that really knows the game knows football is a game of inches and when you make big plays at the right moment or in a pinnacle point of a game it can change the out come as we wittenessed on sunday,hey I think the game was a great one and I feel the Chargers are just really depressed over this one,and when people aren't in there right state of mind they say things even if they aren't true and I think this is what LT did the only thing is he needs to admit he was beat and if he don't he will never grow to the next level as a pro athlete.RULE#1 NEVER BE ASHAMED TO ADMIT YOU WERE BEAT,THIS IS HOW YOU GROW AS A PLAYER ,SO TO THE CHARGERS AND THERE FANS LIVE TO PLAY ANOTHER DAY AND QUIT WITH THE EXCUSES AND NONSENSE.TO THE PATS CONGRATS ON A GREAT EFFORT AND GAME YOU ARE TRUE WINNERS.

Ok who was at this game.... I was.... Talk about classless, from the beginning that chargers walked into this saying they were going to win, Pats just talked about how the Chargers were a really good team.. Pats fans were being blocked out of the game (good try) no tickets to people outside of So.Cal, as a Pats fan I was treated aweful at the game you wouldn't see that at gillette stadium, the fans were arrougant and rude and I live in So.Cal so I take that disrespectfully personally. Its not the pats fault that the chargers choked in the end. Pathetic!!! and the headbutting... You call us classless maybe LT you should look at your own team and your own fans... The pats don't waste their time with silly little dances and I would do the Merriman dance on the chargers field my damn self. Just win baby. The Chargers game on Sunday was a choke for the ages. Grow up and realize you got beat by a dynasty. You intercept Brady and then fumble the ball. Brady performance was Montana-like. He played like crap the entire game and then beats you down the stretch. Stop the whining.

San Diego isn't really a football city,I lived and played there my whole career and I can honestly say these fans are not as passionate for the game as Pats fans are I look back now and can't believe I played there for as long as I did,when your young and in the N.F.L you take what you do for a living seriosly and to play every sunday and feel like your playing for part time fans starts to get to you,I can't believe all the fuss I am hearing now about this game and to remember that I played for this organization for so many years makes me greatful I am a Patriot, I am not one bit suprised that LT is unhappy,he wants out of San Diego but he doesn't know how to say it without upsetting there fans,I know this feeling first hand I went through it,I hope the best for you LT.
